"I don't really know, Rain... I really should get back to training, y'know?" said Chibodee as Rain pulled him around the fair by his wrist. "Oh, come on Chibodee! You said that you weren't busy and that you'd take me out while everyone else was training."
"Yeah, but I didn't really think that a fun fair was what you had in mind..."
"Don't be like that! It'll be fun!"
"Alright. Alright. Whatever..." Chibodee murmured as they turned a corner to see a haunted house standing in front of them. "Hey, Chibodee! Why don't we go in here?" Rain chirped, obviously excited at the prospect of going inside. "I-I don't really know. That's places are always kinda crappy. Wouldn't you prefer to go on something else?" Chibodee replied, obviously not very enthusiastic about going inside. "You're not scared, are you?" Rain laughed which caused Chibodee to shake her hand off of him and stand up straight "Like hell I am! Come on, let's go in there then!" shouted Chibodee as he marched towards the little fairground attraction with Rain in tow.
They paid the man out front and made their way into the house. It was your average haunted house; skeletons that fell from the ceiling, sudden loud noises to make you jump, and all the rest. The signs outside had warned of live actors but the two hadn't encountered any yet. Rain, the more enthusiastic of the two, was leading the group with Chibodee trailing behind. Rain exited the room that they were currently in which was made to look like a child's bedroom with toys scattered across the floor, a little bed covered in blood, and a closet at the far end by the exit. As Chibodee made his way towards the door to the next room, he heard a noise coming from the closet. "Huh? What the hell was that..." Chibodee whispered to himself as he carefully walked over to the closet door. He began to reach to open the door and, as he did, the door flew open causing him to fall back onto the floor. He looked back up at the closet to see the worst possible thing he could've encountered in that house; In front of him, cackling maniacally, stood a grotesque looking clown drenched in blood. Chibodee stared in horror for a few seconds before screaming at the top of his lungs and hurriedly crawling out of the room. After he was outside of the bedroom, he curled up on the floor, shaken by memories of the past.  He began to cry softly to himself as the world around him faded away and he was left with only the sound of that man from years ago laughing into the night.
When he came to he was sitting outside the haunted house in the rain with a blanket over his head and Rain sat next to him. "Huh... W-where am I?" Chibodee mumbled.
"Chibodee! You're awake! I'm so sorry that I made you go in there! I had no idea tha-"
"No, it's okay, it's not your fault." Chibodee interrupted as he stood up, pushing the blanket off of him. "I'm just... I'm just gonna go and sleep now, okay? Don't worry about me." As he said this, he began to shuffle away from Rain. "Chibodee! Wait!" Rain called after him.
"I said don't worry!" replied Chibodee as he walked off into the rain. When he finally made it back to his apartment, he made his way to his room and collapsed onto the bed. Exhausted by what had just happened, he fell into a restless sleep.
