The fact that you don't want to be there when he's born hurts me.. By being my lover and best friend, you should want to be beside me every step of the way. And how you said, "why should I? He's not my kid." Those words right there tell me your not ready for all this.. Those words broke my heart to the absolute core. How could you say that? I mean I know he's not physically yours, I know that.. And I also know it's not your job to help raise him, love him, ect.. But what I'm not understanding is why do you get excited to feel him kick? To hear his heartbeat? To go with me to my doctor appointments? Saying you can't wait to spoil him. That you wish he was here already.. How can you say all those things, and feel that way when "he's not your kid?" ... And I'm sitting here crying because your suppose to love me no matter what.
