1) oh ho, time for sav to go off for this one.  this new trend of demonizing queer ships has literally GOT to stop.  it’s so fucking homophobic and completely invalidates actual queer people who ship queer ships.  like w/ CW and XMA having just come out, there’s a lot of talk about like ‘hey dont ignore sharon and moira just for ur queer ships because thats just THE WORST THING EVER’  and like listen????? i dont like female characters getting shit on any more than the next person, but yall wanna act like?????? the queer community is responsible for sexism and it is So Fucking Gross.  

Also since fucking when did shipping a woman with a man equal respecting that female character????? Yall watched Age of Ultron, right?  Yall saw nat/br*ce happen and ur gonna tell me that thats somehow.......like more ~feminist~ because it ships a woman w/ a man?  like listen, fam.  theres nothign that would please me more than sharon and nat getting together.  

also while we’re at it????? stop fuckING blaming queer shippers for racism too.  i keep seeing stuff from people that almost exclusively ship straight ships that claims all queer ships are just ‘two white guys’ and im not saying that cant be the case and that it isnt a problem IT IS A PROBLEM but please please look @ what the straights did to star wars w/ fucking r*ylo.  like yall are not fucking revolutionary i fucking promise you.

ship what you want, but the next person i see blaming queer shippers solely for misogyny and racism and transphobia and ableism without addressing the misogyny and racism and transphobia and ableism in THEIR niche of the fandom gets the fuck unfollowed.  OR WITHOUT ADDRESSING HOW MISOGYNISTIC/RACIST/TRANSPHOBIC/ABLEIST the source material is lmao.  yall are so fast to demonize queer shippers but lmao we arent giving sharon like 3 scenes in an arc that she had a HUGE part in in the original canon and then shuffling her off screen after a boy kisses her.

also if ur straight literally dont police what queer ships are “acceptable”.  you arent a special fucking snowflake because you “value platonic relationships”.  and if u go out of ur way to shit on someones queer ship repeatedly (u know who u are), youre a fucking homophobe.  also i will shit over ur ship whenever u talk about it after that.  just to be a dick.

1) OVERPOWERED CHARACTERS ARE SO INCREDIBLY UNNECESSARY.  Your OCs do not need to have 3,000 abilities to be relevant.  I’ve noticed this problem the most in the Marvel fandom, and it drives me crazy.  If someone’s ‘abilities’ section takes me like 50 years to read, it’s too much.  or if your character has some crazY AWESOME POWER (WHICH IS AWESOME, I LOVE THOSE), then maybe making them like.....an expert tactician and leader and combatant is not necessary?

this kinda goes for canon characters too.  there are a lot of heavily powered characters in marvel, yes, but people who ignore the canon shortcomings of that character or the downside of their powers drive me sO nuts.

2) AoS is a shit show.
