An In Stars and Time inspired royal straight, complete with ✨Joker✨, and back of card design

This was my final project for a vector art class I was taking! We worked in adobe illustrator, and I'm a raster artist, so it was completely different from literally anything I've ever done before. But, I learned a lot, and I really like how they turned out!!! Behold:

This was a super fun project and despite it being HELL I would honestly love to turn this into a full deck. I have even more ideas for that somehow, including a different design for a second joker card! But uh... that... that will be someday. Not now. Now... I need a break from that Change forsaken program.

But in any case, I'm excited that I got them done and that they turned out so well!! Look at my babies!!! And my teacher is so cool for letting me do this, truly. I wasn't sure if he'd be okay with me doing something inspired by a game, but, honestly he seemed more excited about the project even than I was!

I worked so hard on these guys. I put in so many little details and so much thought that literally only other people who've played the game can appreciate so please... please... appreciate them please. So much symbolism so many double meanings so much-- much things. Pleaseplease I put my blood sweat and literal tears into this Q.Q
