this might get long so TLDR tw parental death poppy cline youngest of three girls grew up on a farm which she now owns after the deaths of her parents in a tragic accident. shes also a second grade teacher at the local elementary school. sweet girl with a lot of problems deep dwn.
born in mayview on a little farm, poppy cline is the last of three girls, each named for flowers. rosie, lily, and poppy.
the three girls grew up living a relatively good life. surrounded by flowers and pumpkins in the fall, the girls would look after the horse their family owned and spent most days wandering in the fields
they werent very well off but they were happy and loved each other dearly. literally think little women.
tw parent death when poppy was 18 her parents went to visit her aunt in colorado and never came home. their plane had crashed and they didnt make it.
so rosie lily and poppy pretty much took over the cline farm. they had a little help from people who had worked there before but the girls handled it for the most part.
growing up poppy was the wildest cline girl. she threw constant parties and was almost always getting into some kind of shenanigans.
poppy goes away to college for four years while her sisters work the farm. she gets her teaching degree and comes home. rosie gets married and lives just down the road with her husband and, eventually, her twin boys. lily decides to move far away, but calls when she can. so the cline farm falls largely into the hands of poppy.
she doesnt mind running the farm but it deffo gets stressful. she has no intention of letting her degree go to waste so while she handles the farm she also gets a job teaching second grade!

personality wise she’s very sweet very kind lovely human being!!!! but she has very low self esteem and tries to make up for it by constantly being in relationships with people. recently learned that love addiction is a real thing and she definitely is a love addict.
while she’s mostly tamer than she was in high school and college, she still really likes to go out and drink
