We got 386 comin' up in a minute. And I'm hoping we finally see Schierke reach Casca.
The last we saw of her
One theory I've been thinking about is that Casca becomes connected to Hanafubuku and also that she comes to embody what Danan represented.
Danan's role was never domination. It was restoration.
She guided Schierke and Farnese through the Corridor of Dreams. She helped return Casca to herself. Even after Elfhelm's fall, the imagery of flowers, memory, and gentle guidance lingers in the story.
Nevertheless, I think she'll become the Sovereign of Falconia. Crazy, I know.
Casca has already done something similar once before. During Griffith's imprisonment, she held the Band of the Hawk together. She became the emotional center of a group that was falling apart. That wasn't because of magic—it was because of who she was. As Judeau put it, as long as Casca survives, they aren't finished.
Miss you Pippin
So I wonder if Berserk is quietly setting up another parallel.
Skull Knight and the ancient Cherry Blossom Priestess.
Guts and Casca.
Not as reincarnations, but as echoes.
If Griffith represents the desire to rule the world through destiny, maybe Casca's path is the opposite: helping restore a world shattered by destiny.
More than anything, though...
It's been two years. Come on, Man.
Give us some Casca and Schierke, bruh. . . . Damn . . .
