Lucifer was born as Heylel in the Kingdom before everything even began. He was one of the archangels in my lore, though it's never specified what he was the representation of before his fall. He was, however, described as kind-hearted, motivated, and actively social, though sometimes impulsive, curious, and insolent at times. His unique behaviour from the start caught the eyes of His Father, who often interacted directly with Heylel.

But everything broke apart the day Heylel gained access to omniscience and more power. Instead of believing he was getting closer to God, Heylel saw various visions of their future and was unable to process it fully. He believed now that he was being guided to the realization they were all enslaved pawns of God. Terrified at the idea of having his newfound mind wiped out and returning back to his original clueless state, Heylel changed and hid, soon gathering "followers" in order to overthrow their Creator who he now felt betrayed by.

A brutal fight ensued after Lucifer was arrested and put on a trial, and Lucifer ended up mortally wounded and fell out of the Kingdom with other rebellious angels, in what appeared to be an empty desolate place, out of God's sight. As he regained his strength, he revealed to all his newly found powers by turning the place into what would be called "Hell", creating diverse biomes in it for all of the new demons to thrive in. For this act, the majority of demons accepted to consider him as their rightful King and Lord of Hell.

Heylel was dead at this point, and Lucifer rose.

Nowadays, Lucifer mostly lives in the Pride territory, which is an ever changing place. The only stable zone is his castle, which is tended by many species of demonic creatures and where he can host other noble demons at times. Lucifer seems for most to have lost Heylel's pleasant traits and is now known for being capricious at times, with short-term patience if bothered. He lives mostly thrill to thrill, whether it comes from changing partners, hoarding new creatures or items, duelling other demons, or going on earth to trouble humans when interested.

In the Bible lore, he will taunt Jesus in the desert, bother and scare apostles, and try to tempt other characters. Lucifer is unfortunately quite a dangerous demon, as he has way more power than usual demonic entities. Instead of fleeing in front of Jesus, he tends to defy him, sometimes impulsively. He often counts on making believers doubt their faith in God to make sure he has the upper hand on the situation, but it's however often impossible for humans to tell if he's being genuine in his warnings against God or trying to manipulate them willingly.

Lucifer is a skilled shapeshifter, able to turn into whatever he's able to imagine, be it human, creature, animal, other characters... He's restricted by turning into sacred characters, which will start to burn him from the inside after a while. The other exception is being blocked into turning into birds or other flying animals, but no one knows why. Being the most powerful demon, he's also able to use what his father gifted him to predict future events (which he rarely does), travel through planes, and see what's on people's minds. Lucifer also gained the ability to create life and is able to invent species and biomes, which is how he created Hell and its systems.

Lucifer (hypocritically?) does not like having his authority challenged and will either respond violently or in petty manners. The nature of his sin gives him a boost of confidence but, in return, makes him quite lonely, as he often feels he's disconnected from others and never truly understood. He oftens feels like someone trapped in a story where other characters feel mostly like NPC to him, fuelling his need of quick thrills and new experiences. Lucifer is known for having different partners, and though he has favourites, he's not monogamous. Beelzebub, Naberiu, and Angus (OC in Hell lore) are in his close chosen circle of demons.

"FUN" FACTS

- Angus' presence was originally created for Asmodeus but Lucifer ended up liking him so much he kept him. That explains the random presence of a demonic centaur in Hell.

- It's unknown if Lucifer is aware of the imps syndicate that formed in his own castle. They often meet up in a secret room.

- Pride territory (which is the place led by Lucifer, though he's Lord of all of Hell) is an ever-changing place and isn't the same depending on the year. Sinners that end up there are often at risk to never be seen again. (Hello Judas)

- Lucifer only finds an interest for an alive Judas. He's, however, repulsed by him once he arrives in Hell, and he's responsible for several of his deaths in that place.

- Lucifer' kid version has spots on his legs and arms, like lioncubs do.

- The likeness in between Jesus' physical appearance and Lucifer's physical appearance is an on purpose design choice. No one knows why God chooses that, though (some speculate same face syndrome).

- Lucifer kept the remains of his burned down wings he had to amputate and put them in an altar in his own bedroom. He had phantom pains for a time, though they calmed down, but the loss left him huge scars.

- Lucifer also has stigmatas scars, which makes it very difficult to tell when he impersonates Jesus in visions. John, however, is skilled enough to differentiate their stigmatas and has never been tricked by this.

- Lucifer commissioned and made himself several art pieces depicting his own person. They're kept all around in his castle. One tapestry also shows Heylel, but he often considers that part of him as dead after he "birthed" Lucifer.

- Lucifer has a kind of soft spot for animals that have been persecuted in history. As such, mistreated cats and owls can end up in Hell, where it's forbidden by his law to ever hurt them. There's also various wild herds formed by goats that were sacrificed.

- No one but Lucifer as of now is able to see Lilith in Hell, but everyone still agrees she's a part of Hell (whether it's out of respect, trust or fear to argue it).

The original version!! I tried a more saturated one up there to make it more "medieval" like.

FIRST of the apostles character sheets!! And that was Peter coincidentally. In lore, he's in the first called so he's there at the start of the story. Before the camp gets bigger, he also hosts at times the disciples with Jesus in his own home.

Peter's design was inspired by the type of "bear dad" character trope, such as Heidi's grandpa.

His design also works in contrast with the one of Jude Thaddeus who's shorter and with "spike" motif in his beard and hair, where Peter has more "round" motif in his.

For the fun fact, Peter is the first apostle I designed iirc, when I started learning about New Testament he was the one apostle I read the most about and I did like his evolution so he could have ended up as the protagonist until Judas took the spot lmao
