BACKGROUND  !

born into the richest family in riverdale ,  the blossoms .

she’s the younger twin ,  only minutes behind her older brother jason .

she’s obviously very distraught about her brothers death .  he was her brother ,  her protector ,  her soul mate ,  &  her best friend .  her everything .

she’s dealt with abuse from both of her parents ,  though mostly her mother her whole life .  

she was always stuck in jasons shadow ,  trying to outshine the blossoms golden boy whatever way she could .  this eventually lead to the personality  &  attitude she has today towards her peers .  a lot of it is projected from what she’s put up with growing up  &  although it’s no excuse ,  having the upper hand is how she is currently dealing with it .

also now that jason is dead ,  she has no protector at home .  she spends as much time out of thornhill as possible to avoid her parents  &  their wrath .

as much as i would love to stick to cheryls canon for season one ,  i don’t really want to play her with the forced heterosexuality .  instead ,  i’ll be playing her as if her interest in all relationships is next to nothing .  she has her minions  &  she could do with some genuine friends ,  but nothing sexual .  though that’s not to say someone couldn’t come along  &  change her mind .

heather still exists ,  cheryl was caught with her in middle school  &  as a result ,  penelope shipped her off to boarding school in switzerland ,  one of the many ways to turn her from  deviancy .  of course this didn’t work ,  but she no longer wishes to be open about who she truly is . 

jason is the only person she officially came out to  &  he took that secret to the grave .
