It's a vague exploration of their memories of one eventful day before their capture into the hands of PGA labs. They didn't have the cracked mask then, but they're reliving them here in their current state.

Shanty must balance the grief and sudden responsibilities after tragedy had struck Tideclan, being thrown into the role of Captain after their predecessor died alongside far too many other cats. They can only wonder if they’ll be remembered for generations as the leader who would save the clan, or be forgotten as the last cat falls.
