Old, but still important

I was just thinking about this comic the other day but had no idea how to find it.

i hate when girls feel dumb for trying to see the best in people and then end up hurt or disappointed like no!! it’s those people that were dumb for misleading you. they took advantage of your kindness and generosity, and they’ll rot for it 

This right here is the post. Do not give up on believing in people or kindness or generosity because of the bad people who take advantage of it. They are the bad people, you are not naive for wanting the world to be good and acting to create that good. Keep believing in people because despite the heartache that may come from the bad apples, you can be the person that helped so many people make it through another day okay.

Weird how what's good for the planet is often so bad for capitalism. What a conundrum.

Old dude came in the shop and when I said "lemme know if you have any questions" he goes "what was the name of Alexander the Great's horse," thinking he was so funny. I told him Bucephalus, and he was so disappointed. Like his whole day was hanging on beating me at trivia. He says "you're only the second person who knew that" and I said "well, probably the third if you count Alexander the Great." He left without buying anything, and did not say goodbye. I think I honestly hurt his weird little feelings! Sorry I'm a bitch, old man!

I had one of these once, bookshop customer randomly challenged me to name, quote, ‘the only word in English where two u’s are next to each other’, and when I immediately said ‘vacuum’ he looked disappointed and when I pointed out it isn’t even the only word with two u’s next to each other in English and offered ‘continuum’ as an example he looked like I’d just punched his ribcage out his back like a Mortal Kombat character

People claiming this didn’t happen have never worked a day in retail

anyway dream’s grown so much as a person, player, and leader in mcc and the reason why their team won wasn’t just because they all did great but because dream genuinely did a great job as a leader rallying them all together specially reaching out to all of them and reviewing their previous mcc performances and helping them learn and improve and do the best they could and he was positive and patient and humble throughout the whole event and ultimately the way he helped coordinate their team is what gave them the win. they were by no means the statistically best team coin average wise and people kept predicting them at 8th but they went above and beyond AND dream donated the equivalent of the coins their team made to cancer research + other ccs decided to match donations as a result and that’s incredible to see
