I keep up with cookie run via Royal Mike, and that’s where I got these screenshots.

First, ANANAS DRAGON IS SO COOL!!! I love them and all the dragons! They are as prideful as ever. And I’m happy to see that Mango still has a good relationship with Ananas and vice versa. Thank you crk! Next

Ananas saw Pitaya’s corruption. While initially shocked, they recognized Pitaya immediately and wondered what happened. Their voice was like that of disbelief and maybe pity. But Ananas calling Pitaya not only Red Dragon (not Greenish Red) but also a friend. The dragons had tense relationships on their charts (except Longan). They were pretty tense with each other when they were getting back together. But also, at the end of the day, they’re all still dragonkin, fellow Fruit Dragons.

But that’s not all.

WE’VE GOT LOTUS DRAGON MENTION!!! Back at the end of the dragon storyline in crob, it’s revealed that the Flower Dragons were wiped out in a war with the Fruit Dragons. Lotus is basically the only Flower Dragon left. By then, Snapdragon was already in crk, so lots of us figured Snapdragon was a Flower Dragon too. Thank you Ananas for confirming our suspicions. And also

LONGAN DRAGON MENTION LET’S GOOOOO!!! To think one of Longan’s orbs was dormant near the island. Reminds me of when Longan took control of the world and watched Ananas like a hawk. But Ananas was surprised by its presence. I wonder how Longan will appear later on. After all, they are the all powerful Ivory Dragon that rearranged the world. Not even with all 4 other dragons fighting together could they barely fight Longan, who eventually changed into their true powered form. Not to mention, Longan is kinda against all cookie kind. But regardless, I’m still happy we got a Longan mention.

Went to pull on the new banners and won my gachas wooo! At the cost of going to pity on everything. I also wanted to get E1 Sunday because I love him and he’s my best support.

I expected Riddle, Vil, and Azul to be top 3. But Allay seeing both queens tied for 1st is interesting yet so true.

How is it that King Pig is higher than Ambrose 63rd? I thought they’d be tied. I hate both with a burning passion. But I guess I have current bias. Ambrose 63rd is honestly pissing me off. I want Nrc to beat his school into the ground. And even if they don’t win (which they should I mean come on), at least destroy the trophy and take back WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY MALLEUS’S FAMILY HEIRLOOM! AIN’T NO WAY YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT IS BEING USED AS A BASED FOR THAT GAUDY TROPHY!

I talked about this in a server I'm in, and I want to share my thoughts on the new characters and their parallels to our boys. So in this post, I'll be discussing my takes on the parallels between Azul and Rielle, and Jamil and Minajael.

First, our ocean duo. This took a bit longer for me to see, but then it just came to me. Both of them have a need for approval, and a drive to prove themselves to others. For Azul, we know that he's wanted to get back at his bullies by becoming successful and overpowering them with his intellect and abilities. He wanted to prove to others and himself that he wasn't some weak little octopus. That he was strong. He wanted to make them regret messing with him. With Rielle, like Ariel, wants to prove that he's not a child. He's the 7th prince of the Coral Sea, and he should be a second year like Azul since they were in the same classes in Elementary and Middle School.

Rielle is very bright eyed and curious about everything, and probably rather impulsive. It's probably because of these behaviors that he's seen as childish because he's not only young, but he does what he wants, often unintentionally causing problems for others. Upon getting his invitation to RSA, Rielle immediately ran away, presumably to get a pair of legs. Dialogue also hints that he didn't even go to Land School like the Fish Mafia did, so he just learned to do it on his own. To me, in Rielle's mind, this is him showcasing independence. By participating in the inter-school championship, Rielle is trying to show his family and others that he is capable of doing things on his own and succeeding. That he's not a child and can be on his own.

But the difference to me is that Azul has a sense of responsibility, and knew what he wanted and how to achieve it. He knew he wanted to get smarter and stronger, so he used his octo abilities to the max and study from grimoires and write dozens of notes at a time. He wants to get fit, so he dieted and worked out. He wanted to outsmart his enemies, so he learned to alter his personality and studied law and contracts. Rielle, I might sound harsh with since we JUST met him and Minajael. But Rielle is still rather naive. He knows he wants to show he's not a child, but does he know how he wants to be seen as grown up? He acknowledges that Azul looks more refined from when they were under the sea, but I think that's just from surface appearances. Because at a glance, Azul DOES look more elegant and refined. Far from the crybaby octopus he used to be. Rielle might have run away to show that he can be independent, which seems to equate to "grown up," (which I won't deny is an aspect of being mature), but by running away, he's still showcasing his childish behavior. Azul calls it "showing initiative" to appease Rielle, but we all agree that it was probably a pain for the royal family. It is yet another instance of the youngest prince causing trouble on a whim to follow his own desires. Idk. I could be reading too much into this and maybe projecting my own thoughts.

Still an NRC girlie. But, they seem interesting. Minajael especially. But let’s talk about Rielle first. At the moment, he pretty bright eyed, curious, and friendly. He actually recognized Azul before remembering him fully after being told they went to school together. He’s got some daddy issues and wants to prove himself as a capable young adult and not as the child he’s seen as. Apparently, he ran away THE MOMENT he got his rsa invitation and didn’t go through traditional means to become human, which is going to a Land school to learn how to walk and stuff (Eternity Float Event, via Jade). Makes you wonder how he got here.

Now, Minajael is interesting. He’s a prince. A very gifted and prodigious one. He graduated (presumably junior high/middle school) at 14, he always gets first place, incredibly intelligent. He’d be perfect if not for his habit of running away and stirring up the media. When Jamil addresses him as “Prince,” Minajael bluntly tells him to drop it since he hates all that etiquette and title stuff. He hates how he can’t do anything for himself, and how he can’t even marry who he wants. He wants to be free to make his own choices. So, turns how he and Kalim are distant cousins through their grandparents. Someone in the family ran off to marry a merchant since doing so was against the rules (this honestly explains a lot). He calls the laws of the land “outdated.”

Our boys’ reaction to them were interesting. Azul was polite as he would with anyone. He has a brief slip of the tongue moment, nearly calling Rielle an annoyance before complimenting his initiative for his constant trouble making. But Jamil and Minajael caught my attention. Turns out Minajael is also just being formal in his conversation with Jamil. When Rielle asked if Jamil was a friend, he simply said he was “The son of a servant family of a relative,” also dropping his more friendlier persona. Jamil isn’t too taken with Minajael either. He mocks Minajael’s desires after the conversation after having went along and agreeing with him. He called it an arrogant problem since Minajael is actually in a position to CHOOSE, unlike Jamil. Which, clock his ass, Jamil. Get him.
