Parents get so offended when they recieve criticism for aggressively imposing gender roles on their children because “its just good fun” and completely fail to see that its not about you having fun. Its about not forcing your children, especially girls, into harmful stereotypes that will effect them and maybe even damage them for life. It wasn’t children or babies that invented these weird rules for different genitals. There are endless different ways to celibrate or have fun with your child other than dressing your daughter up as a pink nurse and your son up as a regular doctor and so on.

I’m not exadurating, I’m tired of seeing things like this. Its been discussed over and over by psychologists that this is the reason young girls see themselves as lesser than their male peers by age 5.

what a productive day, and it is only 5:30pm here in france. i absolutely love being on university breaks because i can study without so much pressure. i revised few chinese characters that i encountered in an article we are currently studying on, worked a little bit for my classical chinese class, i made some chinese flashcards, and learnt a 成语 for my next week oral presentation. now currently taking a little youtube break to watch some videos about russian language and then i will study some more!
