A voice groaned out from behind you after you tried to stand up. Lex pulled you closer as you struggled. You finally gave up after a few tries and snuggled even closer to the boy. Turning around to face him, you gazed at his face for a few seconds, taking in every little detail.
His dark eyes slowly opening—clearly still groggy.
You whispered, raising your hand to rest it against his cheek. Lex smiled at the action and took your hand in his before placing a kiss on it. You stayed like that in silence for a few minutes. It wasn't everyday that you get to experience this much peace—especially with the life you two held. But at the end of the day, you both managed.
It went on for a few seconds before Lex rolled over you, you wheezed as you felt his weight press down on you.
You lightly smacked his arm. He laughed and placed a chaste kiss on your lips. Finally getting off of you, you stood up to stretch your arms. Lex sat up in his bed and placed his arms around your waist—not wanting to let go of you yet.
"Are you going to stay again tonight?"
"Lex, we have class tomorrow."
You murmured as you ran your hands through his ungelled hair. Lex sighed at this, still not letting go. Understanding that this'll last for more than a few seconds, you sat down on his lap. Lex rubbed your sides as he gazed at your eyes. Leaning in to whisper.
Your life wasn't perfect, far from it really. But as long as you have Lex, it was as perfect as it could get.
