me when the story starts with 'it was supposed to be a routine borrowing trip' type narrative:
g/t ideas: trapped
This has been done plenty of times, and usually in a pretty angsty way, so I'll try to be creative with it
- giant is holding/cuddling tiny and falls asleep. now the tiny is trapped in the clutches of a sleeping giant. do they fall asleep too? call for help? or try to wiggle their way out?
- giant locks themselves out of their house and is "trapped" outside. eventually, the tiny finds them and unlocks the door from the inside. but maybe not before laughing at their situation a bit...
- giant gets a limb stuck in something (think finger traps, hand in a jar, etc) and tiny has to help them out of it
- tiny gets cocky while climbing and is now stuck in a place they can't easily get down from. do they call their giant for help? are they stuck because they don't have tools with them, or maybe because of a fear of heights?
- something normal or slightly-large-sized to a giant falls on a tiny and they get stuck. is the tiny hurt or are they "fine"? can they eventually get out on their own?
- tiny locks all exits and hides the keys. now the giant is stuck in the building with them.
- giant tries to do that last one to the tiny but inevitably fails. tiny can leave without doors or windows, and knows the giant's hiding spots anyway.

Giants that move their whole body out of the way/to accommodate tinies will never not be endearing to me. Like imagine there's an arm blocking your path and you hear a booming "Oh, sorry," and a limb larger than a fallen log suddenly rises up and moves perfectly out of your way. Or a giant scooching back to give a you space, and watching gigantic palms scoot a titanic body away feels like watching a mountain adjust to your presence. Or a giant whose head scrapes the clouds having to lower themselves allllll the way to ground to lie on their stomach just so they can talk to a you face to face. It makes me squealllllll giants are sooo cute
