Chekov Probably Does a Lot of Things

Chekov probably would ask how his lover would be most comfortable sleeping. He probably would ask if they’d like him to cuddle; if they’d prefer for him to be big spoon or little spoon, or another close position that works for them. He probably would ask if maybe they’d prefer for him to sleep separately, in case contact or proximity is making the nightmares worse.

Chekov probably would make sure his lover knows that they can talk to him about their nightmares, but make it clear that they can tell him in their own time, or choose not to at all.

Chekov probably would make sure his lover knows just how much he loves them, and remind them that he will be there for them, that he will always be there if they wake up during the night, and will always be there for them in the morning and the next night and the next and the next.
