UPDATE ON BEACH BEAR!! So, he has his beautiful claws! And I finally finished his surf board! I was going to continue the design on the top on the bottom side, but I felt i should do something more themed! His claws are Eva foam covered in black paint mixed with mod podge, then sewed on. I also finished his second pair of shorts. The only thing left for me to do for him is make him his wig, but if anyone thinks of anything else I should make for him, please let me know!

Iām going to be honest, I am not necessarily āexcitedā for the new showtape that will be released at volo. Like Iām neutral š itās so cool we get new Rick and Shalisa content but I think the RAE should just be left alone at this pointš just my opinion though!! What do you guys think? I know a lot of people are looking forward to it
same. itāll be nice to hear the remaining original members together again and I donāt blame volo for jumping on the chance to have new, exclusive content for their show but tbh I think the rockafire should have been left alone a long time ago. you canāt recreate the original dynamic, it was the chemistry between the charactersā real life counterparts that made the shows so unique. without that history thereās always going to be something missing.

There are literally so many artists who would lovingly make artwork for anything Rock-afire, me included.
TLDR: professional designer rants about the use of soulless AI art, and how what makes most old things special, is because people created it.
AI is lazy, and a lot of the times, itās used by people who donāt understand art or the principles that go into design and illustration to know why it truly looks terrible. They certainly have no clue why the human element is important within art as well. Art is an expression of the human experience. Take that away, and it becomes soulless.
This fandom does not have an artist scarcity. I love all the artists here, because I love seeing everyoneās unique ways of interpreting my favorite characters.
Iām a professional designer myself. I work somewhere that appreciates artists and at the moment, AI cannot do what I do, and I donāt think it ever will. Everything I do is by hand, my own and my teamās ideas, I put a little bit of me into every project I work on.
Best of all, my work will be some random kidās nostalgic memory one day. Thatās important to me, to give them something to look back at with fondness, not to look back at some half-assed garbage that had not an ounce of humanity in it.
Why do people fall in love with older franchises? Because there is a human element in it, whether they even know thatās why or not. The Rock-afire was created in a time where everything had to be done by an actual person. Every single bit of it was done by people. Thatās why we like it.
I am fed up with people and companies who have more money than they know what to do with, cheaping out on hiring a professional. Makes all your marketing and business look unofficial.
