An altered state of mind

Japanese artist Gaku turns fruit and vegetables into intricate works of awesome edible art. Drawing from the traditional Japanese art of decorative garnishing known as Mukimono, Gaku carves beautiful ornamental patterns, often inspired by traditional Japanese motifs, into all sorts of produce, which he also later eats. So it’s art that’s at once ephemeral, nutritious, and delicious.
