charlotte pushed open the front door of andrew’s mansion--she’d always let herself in, even if the door weren’t unlocked that time. “andrew !!” she called out, her voice echoing through the empty halls. she still didn’t fully understand his desire to have almost no furniture but she learned not to question his artistic choices. “where the hell are you?” she mused. “i brought starbucks, and i’m gonna drink yours if i can’t find you in this... void.” char looked around, placing the two cups on the nearest table with a small sigh and taking out her phone. she was positive she’d texted him that she was coming over and bringing drinks with her.

“ thank you !! ” arabella smiled and waved as she waved at the delivery driver driving away. as soon as it was clear she saw the cameras across the street, sighing as she looked to the person out here with her. “ do you thing i can avoid a headline about how this is my fifth delivery order in a week ?? ” she joked, looking into the bag. “ oh, they gave me an extra cookie !! here. ” she pulled it out, holding it out for them to take. “ they’re my favorite; i can guarantee it’s good. ”

☆ ━  charlotte was at the end of her driveway, collecting yet another package from amazon--most likely it was something she did not need at all, but couldn’t resist adding to her cart because it was cool. hearing the chime of a voice, she turned in the direction from which it came. one of the neighbors. “what else do they expect us to do? it’s the joy of convenience. why leave the house for food when door dash can bring it to me?” charlotte mused. she reached out, accepting the cookie. the girl brought it to her nose, smelling the scent of still-warm chocolate chips, “mmmm, thanks. it smells really fuckin’ good. honestly, i haven’t eaten anything all day, so this will be a great first meal.”
