In Vietnam, Doi Hansuke is called “the one that steals first love”, which probably his nickname in Japan too, because he’s the crush of most young readers (probably) who have read Rakudai Ninja Rantarou, including me back then (still). Sometimes I wonder why it took me 20s years to start drawing my first crush. Not satisfied yet.

I got nostalgic and got my favorite childhood manga Rakudai Ninja Rantoroud. I’ve never gotten the chance to draw the fanart for this manga with my current style.

Hope this year I will get better at anatomy and armors.

My brain isn’t really into un-organic objects, but I want to draw armors and swords so why not start practicing now. And like a punishment I have to start with Wukong’s armor, from the photo of 3d model of him in the game.

Another old sketch and watercolor. I still try to remember why I suddenly got into drawing sir Sun here because the game definitely hadn’t come out yet at that time.

First I drew the Destined One then there was another page on the right, so why not Sun Wukong too. His golden armor set gave, and still give me a headache.
