A while ago, a friend of mine told me about a friend that had a theory. Instead of having extra Aspects aside from the canonical 12 ones (No, Iâm not counting Piss or Lips as canon), given they are more or less the Basis of Creation, the fundamental powers from which the new Universe is made (Space and Time, Order and Chaos, Life and Death, Mind and SoulâŚ), more than having extra, off-canon Aspects, in big enough Sessions the 12 Aspects split into smaller chunks.
I loved this idea, so I began to work on two divisions, thinking that the Session before the Trolls had 48 Players, and ended up making an Expanded Aspect Chart. Three sets of Aspects! The original with 12, the first division with 24, and the second division with 48, to give a total of 84 symbols, with their respective names and colors! Iâll explain what each of them means below the cut.
Disclaimer: None of this actually works. Insectoid body plans break down when you start getting much bigger than a really ambitious lobster, and bipedalism fucks everything all to hell. Iâm also working from a molecular biology degree, not an comparative anatomy one, so my insect systems knowledge is spotty at best.

AU: basically percy swaps places with the angelo twins. Percy is born around 1930. When Zeus zaps the house, Poseidon takes Percy to Atlantis and transforms him into a merchild. To avoid any suspicion about baby percyâs parentage, Poseidon places him in an orphanage and when Percy becomes old enough, he is brought to the palace to undergo training to be one of the atlantic soldiers. Of course since he is the son of Poseidon he shows extraordinary talent. He soon becomes one of the most fierce warriors in the kingdom, earning his place amongst Poseidonâs personal special units at merely 15 of age. When Percy is one day away from his 16th birthday, Poseidon puts a spell on him to prevent him from aging (similar to the hunters of Artemis).

Wizards:
To become a wizard, one must study rigorously for many years in a school. The rules are numerous and strict. There are many types of magic that are forbidden on the behalf of the wizard council, but to be a wizard is to be respected by many.
The wand is given once a wizard is deemed good enough to own one, and the pointy hat is given at a certain level of study.
They study magic and science not to understand the world better, but to harvest it more efficiently.
This tenacity is what led the newly founded empire of the Grimland to turn down magic and focus on technology to harvest nature (following the headcanon that fWhip was raised to be a wizard as well, failed the exams, and went to the Grimlands, quickly climbing the ranks to become the Count)
Witches:
Witches need no school; Magic and rituals are taught by families and elders and stay secretive from other empires.
Anyone could be a witch, just knowing basic spell or sigil making, and you could call yourself a witch. They follow the order of the moon and tides, making rituals and spells according to nature. What they take from nature, they must give back.
Theyâre very family based, and rituals are often do in groups, if not involving the whole village. The only rule is to not use magic to cause harm.
Witches are usually more about protection spells, wards and talismans, but the few witches that used their power for evil has stained their reputation to be all wicked.
After the incident of the cods and salmons, witches of the swamp took the blame for the mass destruction that led to their near extinction.
Fear grew, and the few witches remaining decided to create a council and an academy, making rules to avoid making the same mistakes again. Over the years, the number of magic users has decreased, and fear of magic has risen. Witches are still blamed and feared after all these years, and any witches breaking the now strict rules will be banished.

some more details/thoughts under the cut:
about a decade after philza and techno became friends, philza and techno were stuck in the nether when philza was injured (source of his bad leg) and they had to get help from a local bastion. they ended up befriending people and stayed there for about 150-200 years before they finally left, but every few hundred years they go back to spend a few decades there. they also go back specifically whenever philza and trixtin want to have children.
techno has 2 studs in his ear that philza doesn't--they're actually the earrings of his OLD/first sounder which doesn't exist anymore.
a lot of occupations are lumped together--philza's braid specifically means "builder", which refers to architects, artists, smiths, sculptors, and other professions of the same speed.
god/worship braids are meant to be knotted into your hair and stay there until your hair grows out and you have to redo the beads. each commonly recognized god has their own bead patterns, though eut'oob (i yoinked the name from a fic and i dont remember which one aaa if anyone in the notes remembers ill credit it) is a surface god and techno made up his own braid pattern for him because he isnt worshipped in the nether.
piglins have matesprit, moirail, and kismesis jewelry >:] iykyk. emduo are moirails cant change my mind. (techno had kismesis chains/jewelry for squid but that was a long time ago--squid died of old age)
word braiders are a highly valued part of piglin society. the reason it's a piercing and not a braid is because you have to be gifted a nose ring and be approved to get a piercing by another master word braider to show that you're qualified to call yourself one. you can't just put in a braid and call it a day.
wilbur grew up in a bastion till he was like 14/15 but he ended up chopping all of his hair off when he was a teen. techno is the one who gave him his nose ring when he was 17.
