It’s been a while… but I’m still alive.

where no - one sees you ,

Eye update!

I’m a week and two days post-op and healing is going well. I’m slowly gaining back sight in my eye. While I still have what’s called a gas bubble in my eye, it is dissipating. Eventually it will be completely absorbed and my vision should be back close to normal if not normal. My bruised eye is looking so much better! I can actually cover it with make up and not look like I got in a fist fight. lol

Incase anyone is missing me…

I had emergency surgery Tuesday for a retinal detachment in my right eye! Yes those big beautiful eyes of mine are extremely sensitive and well I have a condition called PVD which can lead to detachment of the retina. So after my doctor ( who is in another city) spoke to me over the phone Sunday when I went completely blind in my right eye, I went to two different specialists on Monday and had emergency surgery to reattach it on Tuesday. While it will be awhile before I can see again out of my right eye , I’m basically on bed rest for 30 days. Yeah eyeball surgery is serious stuff. Believe me your girl wants to see again out of her right eye. I got a life to live and doing it one eyed will suck. So sent me all your good thoughts, prayers, glitter sprinkles or whatever you do to encourage and entertain your friends! AND don’t expect to see my face anytime soon! I have a nasty black eye. 🥲😅😆🤣
