Just had an epiphany that Sarek introducing Amanda by saying “She, who is my wife” is the Vulcan equivalent of telling someone what your partner’s pronouns are

I always thought he enjoyed the surprise on people’s faces when he announced she was his wife. Spock’s family loves to stir up drama and so I can imagine other Vulcans going home to their significant others and saying, “I met the human Sarek married.”
