also uhhhh sorry it took me so long to reply to this ask I got distracted by artfight and also a lot has been happening this week im highkey swamped

I got stuck not drawing anything for a hot second bc I was paralyzed by all the things I was forcing myself to draw, I keep telling myself I owe people art, even when they didn’t ask for it. I hadn’t made anything I genuinely wanted to in a while, bc I keep making shit that’s either for other people, just for the sake of posting, or just bc I want to see numbers go up.

Like when I posted abt team Chaotix and Espilver i got WAAAYYYYYY more likes and reposts. and since I started being obsessed with the random Rarepair I made up, it’s very obvious that less people are liking my posts. But Ive realized that even though there’s less likes or reblogs or whatever, so much more of what I DO get, is replies, asks, reblogs with text instead of just a quick reblog, I actually interact with mutuals now instead of just watching from a distance, I see the same profile pictures a lot more. Like numbers are down but the percentage of actual meaningful interactions is WAYYYYYY up, and like those are the ones that matter

Basically I gotta remind myself that art is for fun and I need to focus on creating something that matters to me, bc usually when it does, it matters to others too lol

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and drew with me today for my first magma here! I had so much fun, I didn't expect to stay there for so long!!! I stayed there for 10 hours LOL, because it was such a delight to spend time with everyone ^^ I got so nervous aha, so I drew maid Scourge to feel less intimidated by how wonderfully everyone draws ;0; but I had a lot of fun seeing familiar faces :D that I didn't feel as scared anymore!

Even to the people from twitter who came by too, thank you! I hope I can draw again with everyone soon, and thank you for taking the time out of your day to visit, draw, and play with me!!! It was so fun, and we should do this again sometime :>
