Ramadan is a blessing in itself but let’s also appreciate how Allah puts eagerness in our hearts for Ramadan and for being a better person even if it’s just for a month. This eagerness is a tremendous blessing and even Muslims who have not done anything for Allah the entire year feel this eagerness. Muslims of all kinds have the excitement of doing something for Allah. Allah already prepares us for Ramadan by putting this eagerness in our hearts to maintain a new perspective, to re-coordinate ourselves even if we haven’t been offering salah. Allah shows us before Ramadan even starts what our soul really craves — and I restate that even “non-practicing Muslims” experience the joy of Ramadan coming — as we unconsciously confirm that worshipping Allah is what makes us happy. Subhanallah. Allah is so merciful to all of His slaves. 💖

Pray for those who are struggling to get up and pray for themselves, due to depression or for any other reason. Pray for those who want to pray but don’t have the heart to anymore. Pray for those who are guilty for missing their prayers and cannot find the love and willingness to pray for their Lord anymore. Pray for those who feel they are not good enough Muslims because of their personal barriers against praying.
