The games I love

(I didn't watch all of his cards yet so I might be a bit incorrect in my judgement, so forgive me).

So, imagine you fix people's psyche as a living. You've seen it all, psychopaths, their victims,  people so mentally broken that they have been brought to your care for recovery, and Vyn specialises on difficult cases. You've been caring for a talented violinist, mending her mind together but by bit. Mental disorders are never a straightforward cases. Vyn says it's easier to him that being a surgeon, because he can mend the mind, when surgery cannot fix everything.

And then, the patient you were dragging out of their own mental doom, almost recovered, hopeful and bright, meets the only person who can dismantle your hard work in five sentences.

Would you not break under it, just even a little? Would you not want to be held by the person you like, at that moment?

Yes, he did. He could have put on his gentle smile and say "I'll manage", but he wanted to be selfish for just a while. Long months of his hard work were gone, and that victim even got disabled, and this is the exact thing what he was afraid of - surgery cannot fix everything.

He could not tell her directly "I need you more than anything now, I'm breaking apart and you are the only person who is able to prevent me from it". Well, he said some of it, but part of him, the one that was craving it under different circumstances was still triumphant.

Is Vyn mentally stable himself? Probably not. In his voice diary he tried to rationalize it, said he was pretending, to get her in his hands. But what if he actually wasn't pretending?

There are some moments in our life where you can clearly see this pause before your own reaction. Should I scream or answer calmly? Should I stay or should I follow? These pauses you remember afterwards and often think, what would happen if you acted differently? You had the choice. But in reality, part of you wanted to act like this. Emotions took over. 

So, Vyn blames himself for inability to stay composed with her. But a human cannot always stay cold headed and composed. There is a limit. 

Unless you're a psychopath, then that would be easy for you.

So, Tears of Themis and Vyn Richter.

The first card of Vyn, Medieval Suspense, was very Jiaoqiu coded. Let me explain.

They had a roleplay, detective story, medieval setting, and Vyn's character, young Duke kills his own father, who was about to murder a young woman and make alchemical experiments on her. That woman discovers that during the investigation and sends him to execution with her own hands. There is also a romantic subplot, but that's not the case now.

Imagine if Jiaoqiu was sentenced to death for poisoning Hoolay to save Feixiao. Hoolay wanted to harm her. Hoolay harmed many people before her and wanted to put her in a big danger. It was only because of her own strong will that she resisted the Crimson Moon. Jiaoqiu did what he did.

Imagine Feixiao, instead of thanking him for saving her life starts blaming herself for being a murderer, and then exposes Jiaoqiu for being a poisoner.

A HSR player went to play Tears of Themis. I started walking through past events (because stamina cap doesn't allow progressing main story fast enough), and look what I found!

There was also next sentence about Bug that is the only thing that can overpass the "Universal law" or something, but I couldn't screenshot it, because once the phrase was said the dialogue closed.

Anyway, Hoyoverse games do truly put easter eggs into one another. I'm looking forward to find another one.

They have a motto!

Because he was the one who made Graphia what she became. Using her, yes, and being disappointed when she decided to do something else (Helping Astral Express back eras ago). But he was the catalyst.

Then, he'd raised Himeko, and looks like he was committed to the role, despite being often away, destroying other worlds.

I liked his opinion about art and the necessity to make something that shows beautiful things, capturing their light and essence in a painting. Because ugly and disgusting things will be present and endure all the time, we don't need to leave witness of their existence.

If we think he didn't at least try to be a good dad, we are blind.

His interviews in Furbo Magazine are hilarious. Man is really a twisted version of Elation.

Mondstadt is known for it's constantly drinking people after all...

This man is sus. Sidekick, yeah. He is definitely not that simple.

Now, about Blade's situation: I was wondering, why everybody was so on edge by the idea of Blade getting a mask.

Like, TB had several interactions with him on Luofu, and he wasn't hostile! Yes, he uncovered Dan Heng's identity, but he didn't try to cause a massive damage. And some interactions were even peaceful (side quest about some dude who managed to grow back to infantry and Blade in the end asked, how did the man go, was he happy or not. Another - when you help Kafka and Blade to leave Luofu, and he is basically dependent in that situation). So, why, I wondered.

(I ship them so hard, it's basically a yearly reunion every time. Every quest with Xiao is golden. Transformation from an edgy boy to a gentle friend, year after year.)
