So my friend was texting me and telling me I should be nicer to her boyfriend and we should be friends and such. So I told her it would interfere with his perception of my ass kicking abilities. And this is what she said and I love it.

My language: I uhhh umm hm. Did you know the platypi are the only mammals that lay eggs?! Shit....

Okay. So I've been working at McDonald's for less than a month now, so I'm still clueless when it comes to just about anything. Keep that in mind. Now today an elderly man comes in maybe 80 years old. And a kid with Down syndrome comes in about a minute after. I begin taking the man's order and he's very confused and a little frustrated with me because I put down what he said and he said the price wasn't right. It came up as $3 and something but he said everywhere else he went it was 2. So after trying to figure it out on my own for a while I bring over someone more professional than I am. He came over and turns out the man told me the wrong item. He begins apologizing to me and saying how stupid he is. And the kid next to him waiting for me to take his order says 'you're not stupid, sir.' And says things like that and gives him a big hug. And after I'm done with man's order and he's standing by waiting for his food. And the kid asks for a dollar ice cream. So I ring it up, but with tax it was over what he had. So, the elderly man slides over the money and pays for the ice cream for the kid. The kid starts blabbing his thanks and the man keeps telling him not to worry about it. But they're both smiling. Honestly this made my day and my faith in humanity is officially restored.
