Soog but everyone assumes they are dating when they really aren't dating yet. Kind of a reverse situation of this and this haxfume scenarios and also i wrote it situated in the same timeframe/scenario of hbg + hax in an airbnb for a lan tournament. Shout out @amberwaddle for convincing me to write this
The first time it happened, was early at night, in the first day of the trip.
Silverr wasn’t really tired by now, but he knew he shouldn't be going to bed late, if he wanted to do well in the tournament. So he was the first to bring up the topic of room arrangements — who is sleeping in which room with who, and all that.
"That one room upstairs is good for you and doog, i think." Feinberg said, looking at him.
"What? No, me and Doog can't be sleeping alone, that's not optimal. The other rooms will be too crowded."
Hax looked up, his eyes leaving Infume's phone for the first time in a while. "No, but won't you two like to have more privacy? It's kinda like me and infume, we were planning on getting a room for ourselves too, because, you know, of our relationship and the type of things we would like to do with each other."
He had no idea of how Hax and Infume watching tiktoks and cocomelon together would be in any way comparable to him and Doogile. Hax is probably thinking of our vod reviewing. And it's just a weird analogy I don't fully understand. "I don't think we need all that."
"Some people haven't even arrived yet, we can do that arrangement just for tonight, at least." Couriway yawned after speaking. "I need to go to bed anyway, we should decide this in a meeting with everyone later."
The topic dies out after that. Eventually, people move to each of the rooms, either going to bed or leaving their baggage in there. Silverr took a while, but he finally manages to tell Doogile about the arrangement, and he is relieved to see that Doog is mostly unfazed by it. If he's being honest, Silverr didn't know exactly why Feinberg pointed out that specific room for them. He hadn't been there before, so he just assumed it was the only room with a television, since he mentioned watching vods back to sleep.
Nothing prepared him to see a room with only one bed.
The second time it happened had been on the following day, when they all went to the venue in preparation for the event.
Thankfully, they didn't have as many issues with setting up every pc this time. He and Doog decided to do some private rooms in practice when they first got their own pcs, and then when they were sure that everything seemed right, Silverr walked to the other side of he stage, and sat on Doogile's side for the vod reviewing. They soon figured out that vod reviewing in person was much easier when you could just point out something with your hand, instead of a mouse cursor. Even if he got way too distracted by Doog's hands at some points.
After an hour, when they had already stopped watching vods and decided to do a 1m1k practice, Couriway walked to their desk. "Hey, I just wanted to say Feinberg feels really sorry about that one mouse one keyboard incident."
"Why are you the one saying this?" Doogile said, as Silverr hit the esc key for them, right as they reached the fortress.
"He is embarrassed about it. I think he wasn't super aware of your relationship at the time."
"I mean, he knew me and Doog were doing everything together already at the time, I don't know how things changed."
"He's probably still upset that we lost to you." Silverr laughed with Doogile's comment.
"We could do another match, but it's us against him and... I don't know, someone else." He looked at Couriway standing in front of them. "Can you tell him that?"
After the first match (where they won against a very angry Feinberg and Infume), they started a private room with multiple duos joining in. Eventually, people were changing their duos, not staying with the same person for more than one room. He and Doogile had a good run, winning 6 out of the 10 seeds they played.
The main thing he remembers about the event, however, was Hax in the end saying "no one can beat soog!", which brought a slight blush on Doogile's cheeks. His fear of being perceived is so cute.
The third time it happened was on the first day of the tournament, in the first hours of the morning.
It was still dark, and he had to hold Doog's hand when going downstairs, with how badly lit the place was. When they arrived at the living room, their hands still together, Danny had looked at them for a long time, before getting up, and saying something about leaving the couch for their date.
He ignored it (like he had been ignoring all the times someone talked about their 'relationship'—why was their bit being taken this serious when no one was even watching?), and left Doogile in the couch picking up their next vod to watch, while he went to the kitchen to pick up something for their breakfast.
When he got there, he saw Dylan standing in front of the fridge, as if he had just woken up and didn't know what he wanted there. "Hey, good morning."
"Good morning!" Dylan closed the fridge, which Silverr opened again, frowning. "Dude, I'm so sorry for not saying it before, but congrats with Doogile."
"Hm, thanks?" About what? The silly 1m1k yesterday?
"I'm not gonna lie, I was kinda pissed you didn't tell me or Reign about it."
"It just happened naturally, we weren't planning for it to be a huge thing and for everyone to know."
"You can tell us anything, you know that, right?"
"Yeah, sure, next time I will call you or Reign."
He left the kitchen with some pieces of toast, barely hearing Dylan's little "next time? You are already thinking about a break...", and he walked back to the living room, where he sat down close to Doogile, leaving an arm behind his back as Doog laid down his head in Silverr's shoulder.
The fourth and last time was in the afterparty of the tournament, in a crowded bar.
It was late already, and most people who didn't drink had gone back to the airbnb. Silverr convinced Doogile to stay, telling him "i neeeeeeeeddd someone to carry me back home!" around an hour ago. Now, he was sitting in a table with Reign and Doog, him and Reign already too lost in their drinks.
"I need to go to the bathroom," Doogile said, "Can we go back home after that?"
"Yeah, everything for you, bro." He smiled, blinking fast as he tried to focus on Doog's face.
As soon as he was gone, Reign turned to him, and raised hia eyebrows. "Dude, I can't believe you call your boyfriend bro."
"What? No, Doogile is my fiancée. You are my boyfriend."
"No, I mean like, your real boyfriend."
"You're pretty real." He poked Reign in his nose. "Look, I can even touch you."
"No, Rowan, I– I know about you and Doog already, like, that you're dating each other."
"I'm not... We are not...." He blinked faster, and rubbed his eyes. "Wait, is that why everyone has been weird about me and Doogile?"
"Everyone in the airbnb has been acting so weirdly, like, they are all talking about our relationship and stuff, and-"
"Dylan literally told me you confirmed to him that you and Doogile are dating."
"Well that's because Dylan is dumb as fuck! I didn't say that! We just talked about 1m1k and he said congrats to me and Doog-"
"You are dumb as fuck! He was saying congrats because you found a boyfriend!"
"I already had a boyfriend! Did he forget about his command? Do I mean nothing to him anymore?"
"What the fuck is going on here?" Silverr fell back in his seat when he heard Doogile's voice. "Are you two okay?"
"Can you please remember him that you two are dating? He is going crazy."
"We are not dating." He cried out.
"I- Yeah, Reign, we are not dating." Doogile sat down, looking confused.
"What? And what was all that?"
"Just normal things between friends." Silverr threw his entire body weight onto Doogile in his side. He closed his eyes, and carefully heard Doogile's heart beating faster. So cute, he thought. He is nervous about my wellbeing.
