How do they like decide ship names?
For Izuku, the M/M ships I can think of use Deku (BakuDeku TodoDeku ShigaDeku DabiDeku KiriDeku KamiDeku ShinDeku AiDeku MonoDeku etc)
But F/M ships use Izu (IzuToga IzuMina IzuMomo IzuJirou IzuOcha IzuNight IzuTooru etc)
Bakugou is mostly Baku (BakuMina BakuDeku ShinBaku KiriBaku KamiBaku BakuCamie TodoBakuDeku etc)
But then there’s Kacchako, which deviates from the pattern when it could’ve been BakuOcha
And why is Deku the only one who has a nickname like that of the students. There’s like EraserMight and EraserMic EraserJoke EndHawks etc which make sense because they’re pro heroes, and those are used more than their actual name, however, Izuku isn’t yet a pro hero and Deku was a nickname originally given to him by Bakugou, Mido would’ve also worked, or could’ve stuck to Izu. Is it just that it sounds nice? But then how do his mostly end up divided by gender? Why is his name first for all the M/F but last for the M/M? Some people do based off of top/bottom, but the names are pretty established so I don’t think the fandom still does. That also presents complications like what if one’s a service top and the other’s a power bottom, whose name goes first???
