So Lestat's beheading confirmed, more or less, we've been speculating that for some time now, but the whole bowling alley thing got me thinking here, will we see his head roling round ( like HE SINGS in butterscotch bitch bitches!) literally as a bowling ball and is it Daniel who's going to throw him?
Well I think Lestat's head will definitely end up being carried around in a bowling bag at the very least, remembering what Eric said about this season, when he got asked for spoilers without context.

To those who spoke hateful things about this actress when it was announced that she would be Akasha. Who tried comparing her (without even seeing her performance) to Aaliyah's movie performance ... You can STFU now, and take several seats!!! Because Sheila Atim's acting in this single scene is the most book-accurate Akasha currently on film. Read the fucking book!! Akasha is an absolute villain, a true monster, and a Holy Terror. Watching this performance gave me chills, and when it was done, I was standing up, clapping, and yelling 'YES! LET'S GO!'

Daniel and Armand have the same addiction.
They live for the ability to dig into someone's life and pull out the worst things, manipulate someone into revealing themselves, breaking people down for their own benefit. But I think their love stems from how hard that is to do to each other. The one person they can't break is the other.
Armand is fascinated by Daniels depth and his resistance. We saw how easily he got Larry to jump in front of that train, but Daniel resisted him for DAYS in San Francisco. No wonder he was fascinating. He is driven to distraction and the destruction of his life and the complete collapse of his moral code by that fascinating boy.
Daniel spent days trying to get at Armand in Dubai (and San Francisco I think) trying to understand his motives and break him. The pure joy on his face when he finally catches Armand in a lie. THAT is Daniels drug of choice. (We see this same high when he thinks he gets Lestat to confess everything about Nicki on tape) But Armand always manages to surprise him and throw him off. Once he thinks he's got him figured out Armand changes the game (turns him, confesses his love, etc.) Armand is the fix that keeps on giving for Daniel.
I love these insane toxic old men! They will destroy themselves for the drug of each other.

i don't doubt that armand wants to stop the great conversion out of a sense of duty, but it also has to sting so much, watching lestat throw all the vampire laws out the window, trample on them over and over again publicly and with glee as he goes unpunished while he, armand, had to watch as his maker and all the palazzo children burned for less. if everyone he loved died because of a great transgression, it means there's utility in maintaining the rules that led to that sacrifice. if there is no one to uphold those rules, then it was all for nothing. marius died for nothing, the palazzo boys died for nothing, amadeo died for nothing.
