I know everyone says it’s best to just stick to “said” as a dialogue tag bc it disappears and that’s true and I mostly do but I want to take a moment for my all-time favorite dialogue tag, “lied.” Absolutely nothing hits like “‘I’m here to help,’ he lied.” NOTHING.

ABSOLUTELY one of my favourites.

I do love that Crowley making a little demonic phone call to Hell with a mouthfull of blood he gnawed off of Sam's wrist basically confirms that the whole ritual with the goblet and the full lifeblood of the victim that Meg and other demons did in earlier seasons is just like...... not actually necessary. they just did that cuz they like to.
