Why do I feel like this? So lonely and sad. Why won’t you do something about it?

It never used to be like this, things used to be great. I know I said i’d give you space, but I never thought i’d be so hard. I wanna stick to the plan, but being alone just doesn’t suit me, it isn’t for me.

So I try to communicate with you, but do you care? Why won’t you respond? Don’t I matter to you?

They say silent treatment is the worst, and right now I can see that’s true. Am I that easy to forget? Do you even think about me? Like I think about you?

Who am I?

What is my purpose?

What is my destiny?

Am I just another face in the mass of people?

Or am I what’s known as a diamond in the rough?

What makes me different from everybody else?

Is it a physical or mental attribute?

How do I impact the lives of others?

When i’m gone, will I be remembered?

Or will I be forgotten?

Do people like me or despise me?

Wait, does it even matter?

These are the questions I ponder to determine..

It is so marvelous and interesting,

How drastic changes can be…

And do occur in a short space of time.

Such as minutes, or even seconds.

It is just above human intelligence.

So one can say that there is definitely a supreme being,

If you were turned inside out, would things be the same?

Would it reveal a better or worse person?

No one may know the real you…

Not even you yourself,

But you can look within yourself

And make the ultimate evaluation.

A lot of People are shy,

That’s probably why they barely say hi.

Being shy is not always good,

That’s why I never could.

It’s not always right,

THE BEGINNING

I thought I could fix thing, thought I could get the one I love back.

The situation just seems to go on and on.

And then I heard the words I never in a million years would think to hear….

“I hate you”

How could you say this to me? Don’t you know your words hurt?

Don’t you realize it’s me?

The one you said you’d always love.

No matter how mad I made you, it should never have gotten that way.

How could you put her before me? My heart hurts, the tears sting…

It was so perfect before, so loving and pure and now it’s corrupt.

How can the mind go against the heart? I’ll give you space if that’s what it takes.

Even though I can’t stand to be away from you…I’ll do it. I’ll do it because..

Hopeless Romantic

I sit and think to myself, why am I such a hopeless romantic? 

Now the answer to that is something i’m not particularly sure of .

Is it so wrong I still believe in a fairytale ending?

I would like to think not. I would also like to think that “happily ever after” can happen for me.

So instead of being wise, I become cupid’s fool.

In almost every relationship I see promise.

I continue to let my guard down and almost always i’m haunted by my actions.

Maybe one day I will learn, or maybe not.
