🐲 CELOSIA CRISTATA  🐲

I was hoping maybe I could request Piers with a S/O who is the former champion of Unova?

☠️ Piers had always known about the Unovan League, and honestly really admired the fact that there was a dark type trainer in the region’s Elite Four. And though you wouldn’t catch him dead admitting it, he actually admires Grimsley.

☠️ So when he hears that you were champion of Unova for a while, he seems lowkey proud of you but Do Not Be Fooled. This man could not be more proud of you!

☠️ Even if you aren’t the champion anymore, that’s still a super impressive achievement! Piers can appreciate strength when he sees it, even if he doesn’t want to be that big on the battling scene anymore.

🔥 The old man in question has never really put too much stock in the idea of “soulmates.” Older gym challengers weren’t uncommon, and he went out quite often as well, yet the red string tied around his ring finger trailed off to who knows where with no other end ever in sight.

🔥 It wasn’t until he’d been leading his gym in Galar for several years that there was any change in the string. Lately there’d been something of a tug on the other end every so often, and it seemed to be more taut, as if there was someone on the other side for once. He couldn’t help that little bit of excitement that started to kindle within him. So he actually had a soulmate, huh? He wonders what kind of person you are.

🔥 And today was like any other; Kabu would go about with the gym challengers, congratulating them on all their hard work to get to this point, even if they hadn’t beaten him. Then he noticed something... The string wasn’t as, well, strung as it was before, and it seemed to be getting shorter.

🔥 That’s when he looks up and sees you. It doesn’t take long for him to notice the little loops of red around your own ring finger, actually almost blending in with the pokeball you’re holding. It takes him even less time to notice where the string leads. And suddenly Kabu can’t help the heat that comes to his face. Never in all his years had he expected

LEON

👑 It took a little work, but you and Leon got enough free time for a week long vacation to Alola!

👑 You were super excited to get back to what you’d left behind for Galar, and Leon was super excited to see the region for himself!

👑 The flight was long, and honestly very, very boring. So the both of you were more than thankful to see the islands getting closer and closer from the view of your window.

👑 Not long after you’d touched down at the airport in Hau’oli City, gotten your luggage, and stepped out into the streets, a beautiful red bird pokemon that Leon had never seen the likes of before was running up to the both of you.

👑 You knelt down and outstretched your arms to catch the Oricorio that quickly jumped towards you and hugged you.

“Soleil! It’s so good to see you again!” 

👑 Leon couldn’t help but grin as you laughed happily at being reunited with your pokemon you’d had to leave behind. He’d never really understand Galar’s restriction on imported pokemon, but he was glad to see that you and your Oricorio were together again!

RAIHAN

🐲 When you suggested a vacation to Alola, Raihan was all over that offer immediately. Sure, anywhere with his lover is paradise, but going to Alola with you? Count him in 200 percent!

🐲 The both of you plan to make this trip as sweet as possible, both in the romantic sense, and with how much fun you plan to have!

🐲 Somehow, even the long plane ride itself isn’t boring when you’re with Raihan. You two play games together on your phones (airplane mode on, of course!) as you tell him about your time in Alola, as well as the other regions you’ve been to!

🐲 Before you knew it, you’d touched down on Melemele Island. The two of you had just grabbed your luggage when you heard thunderous steps running your way. You turned, and there was a massive Feraligatr charging your way.

🐲 Raihan wouldn’t admit it, but he was a little bit nervous, and had his and reaching for the pokeball housing his trusty Duraludon before seeing you run forward and meet the giant reptile for a big hug.

“I’ve missed you so much Chompy! I hope you’ve been okay!”

🐲 You explained to him that Chompy, your Feraligatr, had been your first partner pokemon when you started your adventure in Johto. You were devastated when you had to leave him behind, and Raihan understands the sentiment completely. But now you get to spend an entire two months with your boyfriend and your starter!

MILO

🍀 Milo was a little iffy about a vacation at first. He's a man who prefers to keep his two feet planted on the ground, and ground he knows well at that.

But, oh, how can he say no to those puppy eyes you put on?

🍀 You assure him he'll love seeing Alola and what it has to offer. And he's sure he will! If you're this excited about it, it's definitely bound to be more than worth it.

🍀 The both of you spend most of the plane trip asleep, actually! It's not too surprising, since you and Milo are so comfortable in each other's company.

🍀 You touch down, get off the plane with your luggage, and immediately Milo sees what you mean! It's wonderful here! Fresh, tropical air, wonderful flora,

A charging Sawsbuck...

WAIT NO--

🍀 He was just about to summon his Eldegoss, until he noticed that you were grinning and holding your arms out towards the pokemon running towards the both of you.

"Equinox! C'mere boy!"

🍀 Milo puts two and two together, realizing that this Sawsbuck must've been a partner you had to leave behind due to Galar's import laws. But now that you're reunited, he can't help but smile, your joy is pretty contagious!

LEON

👑 He enjoys spending his free time back in Postwick when you're available too.

There's just something so calming to him about sitting with you late at night in the fields. The stars are almost as beautiful as you, y'know?

👑 Then Leon notices that you're not exactly too focused on the stars. You're staring directly at him, face scrunched up in thought.

👑 "What's wrong, Y/N?"

👑 You snap out of your thoughts and assure him that nothing's wrong, going on to state what was on your mind:

"I was just wondering what it'd be like to kiss you. Your lips look soft but I'm pretty sure your face is so scruffy it'd scratch and tickle me!" You punctuate your last point with a giggle.

👑 Cue Leon becoming a blushing mess. You two weren't even together and you were talking about kissing him so casually. You were even laughing about it! ...Not that he minded.

👑 "Well... Uh-- You... You wanna find out?"

RAIHAN

🐲 His favorite place to hang out with you is some of the highest "keeps" in the castle visage of Hammerlocke.

He'll sit on the edge dangling his legs off and cracking jokes. You know he'll be reveling in your laughter when he makes a good one. Your laughter is his favorite sound.

🐲 He gets a bit worried we he sees you looking almost forlornly down at the streets below, not even watching the people go by. You're just staring at nothing with your head laid on your arms.

🐲 "Hey, Y/N... Something botherin' ya?"

🐲 You blink, and look up at him with a sudden soft smile:

"Nah, nothing's bothering me... I was just thinking... Your canines are pretty sharp, yeah? You wouldn't bite me if we kissed, would you? I mean... Not that I would mind, so long as it wasn't too hard..." You trailed off again, getting lost in an obvious fantasy.

🐲 Raihan's taken aback for a moment before busting out in a hearty laugh with a deep blush on his face, and the sudden sound jolts you out of your thoughts. You pout a little before you look over and realize he's grinning at you,

☠️ If you don’t get along with Marnie already, I’m sorry but Piers literally will not date you-- He wants a S/O who gets along with his sister, no ifs, ands, or buts.

☠️ With that said, if you have a sibling-like friendship with Marnie? Piers probably already likes you, if he doesn’t have a crush on you already. That part also depends on the rest of your personality!

Honestly considering that it’s one of his prerequisites to being in a relationship of any kind with you, it doesn’t change too much about how he acts with you if you’re together.

now i can focus on filling up the blog queue before going on a ridiculously arbitrary hunt for giratina in the dynamax raids--

🐲 People who don’t know any better think Raihan is just completely out there, high energy all the time, can never calm down, etc. etc.

🐲 But you’re his partner, and you know him well. He’s a man who enjoys his downtime, and loves to spend some of that downtime on dates with you!

🐲 Raihan’s more than happy to dress up with you and go to higher end restaurants in either Hammerlocke or Wyndon, depending on your tastes. (Though he’ll be the first to admit, he’ll prefer to dress business casual at the fanciest. He’s not a man for full on pressed and ironed suits.)

🐲 Nights out with him are absolutely delightful though. Another thing you’ve learned dating him is that this man is one hell of a romantic. He lives for the stereotypical candlelit dinner with some fancy wine. And don’t get me started on the sweet talk and lovestruck looks from across the table.

👑 Leon was surprised to see such a loving sylveon, even if they evolve with friendship. He’s never seen a pokemon so glued to someone’s side before!

👑 When he asks you about it, he’s mortified to learn the truth about how you got this precious pokemon. There are really people like that here in Galar?

👑 You’re both in agreement that it’s a super ridiculous reason to abandon a sylveon, let alone any pokemon at all. Especially considering it’s a pokemon that evolves based on it’s moveset. That’s the trainer’s fault that the eevee didn’t evolve the way they wanted them to! It’s horrible to abandon your pokemon as is, but for an evolution you specifically are responsible for? Now that’s just cold and dumb. 

Leon’s very glad someone like you has this sweet baby now.

👑 When Leon finds out that you hold the title of the very first champion of Alola, he’s hardly surprised. He’s seen the way you battle! There’s no way you couldn’t have already been champion somewhere else.

👑 The both of you together are now the champion power team, good luck getting him to consider otherwise--

👑 He’ll definitely ask you to tell him about Alola and what it was like to be crowned the very first champion of the region. That’s not exactly an achievement everyone gets to have!

👑 Leon will definitely love to spar and train with you, considering that the both of you have champion experience. You can help each other become the best trainers out there with enough work!

RAIHAN

🐲 This man probably knew before you told him-- You can’t tell me he doesn’t keep up with news about the best trainers in every region!

🐲 Though, he’s still more than happy to hear it straight from you! Raihan loves to see you be proud of your accomplishments and how strong you are.

🐲 Raihan might actually ask if you can arrange a trip back to Alola with him. He’d love to actually see the region itself, right beside you of course! He’s heard that the Tapus work with battlefield conditions and you know he’s all about that.

🍀 Milo had been wanting to tell you how he felt for what feels like ages. (It’s only been like a week, this boy falls hard and fast, but can get nervous sometimes!)

🍀 He spent the whole day making sure he could make the prettiest bouquet with the cheesiest meaning ever. Romance, love, happiness, beauty. all that jazz. Milo wants to make sure you understand just how much you mean to him, and sometimes words just aren’t enough!

🍀 But, he’d get called for a wayward gym challenge, or to help with the wooloo in the fields, and other tasks all throughout the day. He got less free time than he thought he would today.

🍀 Before he knew it, it was dark outside on a cooler summer night. So much for showing up at your door and surprising you-- Though, there was always tomorrow! Or the day after that. Maybe the day after that--

🍀 Before he could even finish another thought, though, there was a soft knock at his door. Who could be at his door at like... 10 at night?

🍀 He answers and there’s you! With a bouquet just as cheesy as the one he’d planned to give to you in your hands. Roses, smaller sunflowers, lilacs, primroses, stock... Honestly you went even farther than he had. And he went pretty far!

👑 He’s definitely a bit devastated, not being able to see you for so long. But he understands! Sometimes you just gotta go where the heart wants to go!  (Even if he gets lost on the way when he tries.)

👑 He’d love to come with, but unfortunately, since he inherited the megacorp that Rose ran, Leon can’t exactly leave the region much anymore. I mean, he can, but he can’t exactly be with you on a however many months long trip like that--

👑 You can bet he’ll be sticking with you up until the moment you leave, though! He’ll make sure you get the best sendoff ever.

👑 And when you come back, you’re getting the biggest bearhug and all the time from your man that you could ever want.

🐲 If you let him come with you, he’ll be absolutely ridiculously excited to see what every region has to offer. And you know he’ll update his following back in Galar about his “Impromptu Vacay”.

🐲 If you want him to stay behind, he’ll be upset, but he’s not gonna argue. If this is an adventure you wanna fly solo on, that’s your call! He’ll definitely insist you update him on all the fun things you find and do, though!
