“too many reasons to listen to, little one.” a chuckle passes through her thin lips, reaching out to tangle her arm around the other girl’s own. this would be a sight to everyone, chaeyoung and chungha hanging out together. for the past months this year, their groups were only shown as rivals and never as friends. probably on the charts, they are, but the friendship isn’t dipped on those.

it was the older idol who planned to meet anyway, so she took responsibility for everything beforehand already. of course, that includes of her spending all the money she has reserved for this girl beside her. “alright, alright. i’ll buy it for you. tell me more about matcha then. you sound like you’re the promoter of it.”

chaeyoung’s features INSTANTLY light up as the older idol gives in -- that surprisingly wasn’t too hard. jackpot !!! her hands clasp together, stretching out her fingers a little while in having her own fingers intertwined with each other. a content sigh leaves through nude colored lips, now wearing a happy grin. ❝ ah, unnie is the best ! even though she probably knew such things would happen and took money just in case-- ❞  the former happy grin turns into a cheeky one, a chain of soft giggles to be heard. 

so now she’d not only get her matcha, but she’d also go out with chungha, were people would eventually see them and take pictures. what’s so good about that ? EVERYTHING. since their debut there haven’t really been interactions on camera, fans of both groups more or less seeing them as rivals instead of two groups who could potentially become close friends. the ages were fitting; in chaeyoung’s opinion anyway. she snaps out of the thought as she hears the last sentence, upper body swaying left and right.  ❝ I may just be. park chaeyoung, official promoter of matcha. or.. organic green tea, but I heard jackson sunbaenim’s big on that, so actually he may be the official promoter after all. but you see; matcha is a type of green tea, harvested in japan, like sencha, too !!!  ❞  she stops for a moment, bringing her left hand ( the one that wasn’t currently tangled with the older female’s arm ) to tap her chin in thought.  ❝ now.. matcha is in powder form, while sencha comes in the form of tea leafs. matcha grows shaded, sencha in direct sunlight. and you know, due to growing in the shade matcha has more caffeine and also offers that calming effect, it helps you concentrate better, also; very cool -- it gives you a boost of energy, long lasting energy. so all in all, matcha has a lot of health benefits, which are as follows -- ❞  another stop to inhale air deeply into her lungs. who knew little chaeyoung knew so much about simple green tea ? well, you do look up one or two tricks for a healthy lifestyle in your life, and the young idol may have gotten hooked on the delicious matcha.

❝  that’s a fairly good question; let me explain. first of all – because I can. secondly, because it’s funny !! and last but not least – I got it from jennie unnie so it shall be a treasured ability.  ❞  because speaking in an overly cute baby voice was something jennie was extremely good at; chaeyoung simply copied it whenever there was a need to. those times of need including wanting to get food, something to drink, or overall having someone treat her to something. the younger girl cups her cheeks, giggle emitting past soft lips. 

❝  trash bag.. it doesn’t, what are you saying ? it’s a designer piece !  ❞   but does IT being a designer piece really take the trash bag aspect from it ? not really. she may not admit to it, denying it instead, but truth be told – it did look quite similar to a trash bag, a shiny black, not really form fitting. oh god, she was really wearing a trash bag. to her defense, chaeyoung didn’t pick the outfit. the stylists did, thinking she looked great, and before the comparison was made she believed them. now.. not really. it appears clearly in front of her eyes, the visual of a shiny black trash bag that now reminds her way too much of her own dress. brows furrow, lips pressing into a thin line as an audible sigh leaves from her. but then – the young girl breaks into a fit of soft laughter.

❝  making food !  ❞  exclaims the younger, offering one of her brightest smiles – as if making food in the YG buildings kitchen at three in the morning was normal. to her defense, blackpink had been practicing most of the night, spending a little extra time in the training room, hoping to see the mysterious ghost living in the closet once again. somewhere along of that chaeyoung had grown terribly hungry, so she made her way here - the other three possibly still sitting on the ground sharing ghost stories, scaring lisa who’ll later end up asking chaeyoung to stay up with her.   ❝  what are you doing, oppa ? I mean.. it’s late, and this is a kitchen.. hungry, too ?  ❞  head tips to the side, brows slightly furrowing before returning her attention to the slice of bread in front of her. 

❝  hmm.. I’d offer to make something for you, too, but I wouldn’t want to risk cooking, so I could only offer bread.  ❞  a few slow nods are given, gaze wandering back to her label mate. there’s a questioning look on her face; clearly waiting for him to either agree or disagree with the bread she’d make for him if he’d really want to. ❝  so ?  ❞

I told you it’d be fun !  ❞  and in that chaeyoung would take pride, for at least a week. she’d rub it under seungyeon’s nose whenever the chance for it arose new. ‘hey remember that time you didn’t want to come because you thought it would be stupid ? but in the end it was great and you were super glad I forced you ?” – something along those lines, most likely. the first time the younger mentioned the trip to the zoo her unnie simply looked at her as if she was insane. a zoo ? WHY ? what for ? after explaining that the main reason was the monkey house in which the monkeys could interact with you seungyeon’s expression didn’t change much. but, of course, miss park right here managed to annoy her until she gave in. 

so, fast forward to this very moment. chaeyoung and seungyeon standing in the middle of the big building, a small monkey on chaeyoung’s shoulder, taking a piece of banana from the older girls hands. happily it noms on it, looking around with its pretty eyes. to chaeyoung’s surprise the little fella smelled sweet, almost like honey, having her lips tug up into the brightest grin possible. ❝  ah, this little guy’s so cute ! want to come with me ? go into my backpack small guy. I’m sure you’d like it at the blackpink dorm. you’d have three dogs to annoy.  ❞  a chain of soft giggles, hand reaching up to gently brush over the monkeys chest with her index finger. gaze wanders, until it lands back on her unnie, eyebrow raising in question. ❝  what ? don’t you wanna take him home as well ? ❞

 ❝  I don’t necessarily expect you to understand.  ❞  she starts, chains of soft chuckles still escaping from her throat, left hand lifted up to cover her mouth with her palm; trying to keep her laughter down. it’s not even that funny now she that she actually thinks about it. but chaeyoung had a tendency to find something funny about nearly every situation there was. 

“Not even for a split second, my baby pasta!” She insists, the other’s expression only making her giggle, uncontrollably, even as her hands curled up into small fists and pressed against her mouth in the futile attempt to hold the sound in. “Little ribbons… please don’t try to put them in your hair, Rosie, they’re going to leave such a mess…! Well…to be honest… now that you’ve said it, even I want to do it– ah, you’re a bad influence… let’s go find a place where we can eat them before this idea takes root!”

Ah… some people might be, but not me, not me, Rosie. And just what kind of pasta does our nightingale want?

Pasta pasta~!  Ah, is anyone surprised that I could actually eat some pasta right about now? We should get some, we should!
