Lúc 2.17, tôi đang nghe Dangerously của Charlie Puth. Trong bầu trời ráo hoảnh thoảng bốc mùi hơi đất sau mưa, tôi nhớ nhà ga Sapa (chính xác hơn là Lào Cai). Vâng, khoảng thời gian này tôi chờ tàu về Phú Thọ.

Tôi nghỉ việc, tính đến ngày nay chắc có lẽ hơn 1 năm, mong kiếm một công việc viết văn nhàn tản hòng đi đây đó. Thế mà mỉa mai thay, COVID-19 và mọi thứ xáo trộn, khao khát của tôi, ngông cuồng của tôi… trước tình hình thế giới.

Nhưng chẳng hề hấn gì với bầu trời quang ngoài kia, con vẹt ngũ sắc kêu rúc rắc rỉa bộ lông, giọt nước long lanh lăn chậm khỏi ngọn lá trĩu nặng đánh tỏm.

Mưa tạnh, trời sáng, tôi thôi nghĩ vu vơ.
