Mornings look different now for sure. I left Amber and Harper together for 10 minutes and they both decided it was nap time. Our family would like to announce the arrival of our daughter, Harper Elizabeth Chapin, born via cesarean at 1:31pm on 2-18-19. Weighing in at 9 lbs 8 ounces and measuring 21.5 inches long, she is a puddle of pure, unadulterated, perfection. Both of her mommies are settling into this new adventure and we look forward to healing from the cesarean. My funny valentine and I spent a day doing things we love, and then had what could very well be our last date night before Harper comes. We dug the van out of the driveway, walked around Target, ate a delicious meal at Mercato, had coffee at Burial Grounds, and ended our date night with a two hour painting session at The Painted Plate. I cannot believe that this woman is my wife and that I get to spend my life with her.
