Around the Studio

We’ve moved to a new, larger space to fit our growing studio. We are now located on the east side, at the intersection of Queen St East and River St. Look forward to more updates on recent work as we settle in to our new home.

Here is a sneak peek at a new cocktail project rolling out to stores across the United States this fall.

We were thrilled to work with Balzac’s Coffee Roasters on their new Nitro Cold Brew Coffee. The custom tap handle and vintage style poster were a treat to design.

Congratulations to Boralia on being named one of Toronto Life’s Top 20 Restaurants for 2015 (#5!!), in addition to top reviews from the Globe and Mail and appearances on CBC.

We are deep into the production phase on an amazing project - the Little Inn of Bayfield. Steeped in over one hundred and fifty years of history, this historic coaching inn on Lake Huron is set to reopen at the end of March, remodelled and ready for guests. 

Borealia opened its doors this week after treating us to a delightful preview dinner. With a menu inspired from the historic foods of the natives, early settlers, and subsequent immigrant groups who arrived to Canada in the 18th and 19th centuries, Borealia is redefining Canadian cuisine.

Fresh from the oven, Bobbette & Belle's second location is now open on Yonge street in the Yonge Lawrence Village area. Treat yourself to a famous hot chocolate (with toasted marshmallow!) and try a few of the pastries.

Chad was honoured to be among the group selected to present at Table Talk, an event hosted by the Design Exchange. Discussing the marriage of design and food, other speakers included some of Toronto’s top chefs, interior designers, food writers, and restauranteurs.

Just in time for summer, Balzac's newest location is now open on Market Street across from Toronto’s historic St. Lawrence Market. Stop by for a cold brew coffee while you check out the gold detailing on the windows.

The Aberdeen Tavern opens today in Hamilton. A modern gastropub with a well-chosen menu and an even better cocktail list, situated in an old bank building in a historic part of the city. 

The new Campagnolo website has launched with mouth-watering photos and tantalizing menus. If you haven’t been yet, you should go. Order a bottle of wine, or three. Have the fresh burrata. And the house-made spaghetti. Make sure to save room for the budino—it is absolutely amazing. Or, just save yourself the trouble of having to decide and let Chef Craig make all the decisions. You won’t regret it.
