Because genuinely who do I pick??? Kai has meant so much to me from the ripe age of 7. I have full on pages of analysis on him. Character studies and essays that I wrote on paper at like 12. With episode references along with direct quotes. I have based my personality for the better half of a decade on him.

Then there’s Damian and omd I can’t begin to explain the love I have for this fictional child. I see so much of myself in him. Reading about someone who you find relatable is something I can’t even put into words. I’m currently working on a in depth character analysis that’s already 68 pages and that’s still surface stuff. I found myself talking about him for hours alone in my room (concerning but true). I could genuinely yap about him forever and not even get tired.

Who do I pick??? Someone who inspires me to be a better person and I’ve based my personality off for the last almost decade. Or the character I see myself reflected in so much that I can’t even describe it!

I was reading your classic crossover and it hit me mid fic. Gacha life videos that were the “Blank gets trapped in blank universe”

Ex: afton family gets trapped in mha for whatever period of time

They give the same vibe as crossover fics. Like something happens in person A’s universe where they somehow end up somewhere else. They then slowly stumble upon people from the B universe.

All of the batfam members + associates had an awkward phase. Not in all of the Wayne boys had the infamous ‘buzz cut’ no that’s too easy. Some stuff they still feel embarrassed about

Bruce around the age of 13 started getting some of the worst voice cracks imaginable and did not grow for like a good 3-4 years. Poor guy was stuck at like 5’6 for most of his early teenage years. He finally hit a major growth spurt around 17.

Dick, while yes handsome now, totally had terrible acne. Well more like he thought it was terrible. In reality it was probably fine, and normal. He just sincerely believes it was horrendous.

Jason had braces, you’re not changing my mind. He got them after the first couple months with Bruce. He didn’t mind it. (Extra sad, he got them off 2 weeks before leaving to find his mom.)

Tim, poor, poor, Tim. Triple whammy-braces, acne, and height. Poor kid had bad acne, and the braces did not help. To add insult to injury villains started asking why Batman let 10 year olds start being robin again. Poor guy just finally got himself some Accutane. (He still sleeps with an Invisalign though)

Damian, while technically it’s not probable since he was genetically engineered to be perfectly. He also had braces, which wasn’t bad, but it gave him a speech impediment. His ch/sh/th would blend together. Which is why he referred to people via last name because if he tried to say Timothy it sounded silly. But if you don’t like that one he totally had a hardcore goth phase where he went through kohl like noponies business.

Steph, like Tim was an Accutane warrior but also never had somepony to teach her how to take care of curls. She used to show up to patrol with frizz for days, and god forbid it was humid. She definitely has a cabinet full of curly hair products that are half used and she will buy more. She also has a pure loathing for Cantù.(yes I am projecting as a 4c girly who has boxes full of barley used product)

Cass, like Damian definitely had a hardcore goth phase with the completely white face and over the top eyeliner. Bruce definitely asked her to turn down the music a few times. One problem though she had a massive poster of Gerard Way in her room. She felt like a total goth fraud because she would blast MCR in her headphones all the time. Extra hc she definitely listens to Vkei.

Duke, my king, my goat, fell victim to the killmonger black panther 2018 hype, and shaved half of his head and got dreads. Poor fella had to deal with the awkwardness that is starter locs and how weirdly they sit. Worst part is, when they finally reached the teenage stage of locs he just shaved it because he got bored. He also was obsessed with Harley motorcycles for a very long time which is why he’s into rock and roll. Specifically the old man divorced dad type of it.

Barb had a vocaloid phase, idc that it doesn’t make sense or that she hypothetically wouldn’t have been a teenager when it came out or got popular. She definitely watched it on her computer as a kid and thought about going to concerts. Commissioner Gordon would tell the people at the police station that his daughter liked those ‘Japanese robot doohickeys’. Argue with the wall.

In Jason Todd teacher AU’s I need him to be that. Just some really tall buff dude who’s kinda scary looking but once you meet him, he’s kinda just chill. Like he has random pictures of his dog named dog. He totally escorts people to the office after bad choices but he never holds that against them.
