a scoff was given at the boys words yet flash found himself almost agreeing with them. not on the annoying part, but definitely on the beauty sleep. “and i thought i was a pretty big douche osborn, but damn. you are aware of what’s going on around here, right?”

harry wanted to be used to all the surprises being thrown around here, but having a much older looking version of a high school bully he thought he’d finally gotten rid of? that definitely shook him. blinking for a moment before settling down, harry let out a huff and crossed his arms. “you are a pretty big douche, flash. didn’t realise they were lettin’ everyone in here now, why’re you here?”

“y’ ever realize maybe the world don’t revolve around you and y’re beauty sleep, bub? hate to break it to you, but i think your needs are the last of everyone’s worries in this house. especially with everythin’ goin’ on. don’t like the noise than find somewhere else to sleep.”

“first of all, it should revolve around me, so jot that down. second of all, i don’t care about anyone else’s problems, i care about my own. what about your room, is it quiet?”

“considering a lots going on at the moment, it’s difficult for anyone to get sleep.” cassandra noted. “i mean, everything that happened with the professor has really shaken people up, plus the whole stryker thing. so, like, i don’t mean to be rude but i think they only annoying thing thats happening is your complaining.”

“well, i’m gonna get a whole lot more annoying if people don’t let me sleep.” he eyed her, irritation in his tone. “you wanna here me complain more or do you wanna help me sleep?”

gaze didn’t move as the young man spoke, continuing to trail along the book he’d borrowed from the library. “i don’t care.”

“i thought kings were meant to be nice?” he huffed, sitting down in front of the other and eyeing the book. “what’re you reading?”

“ The fact that you automatically used DRINKING as an example only furthers my point. “ 

“What, because you’re too boring to actually do anything fun?”

“ why are you such a child ?? “ she counters, raising an eyebrow. she COULD just leave, but damn it, she was here first. 

“I am not a child. I can legally drink.” He complained, side eyeing her.

“ keep telling yourself that. “ her eyes narrow, purple energy enveloping his hand and tugging it away from her food. 

“Why’re you so mean?” He huffed, pouting at the girl.
