Some antique ritual tools for foreskin removal. Lower right in the first pic is a Jewish shield, and the second pic is a Jewish knife, together they are the simplest and probable the fastest foreskin removal kit.

Not my favourite circumcision tool, although my youngest brother got plastibelled.  I remember a diaper change and seeing the plastic ring on his cock, I was about 8 (and already a full on circumsexual).  So I asked mom what it was she said it’s for his circumcision. Then I asked mom if I had one like that, and she said no yours was different. Wow! I said.  My first conversation about circumcision with mom.

So, someone wanted some details on my dad's circ.  Background, I recently visited my dad and thanked him for having me circumcised as a baby.  Turns out that when I was born (60s) the particular hospital just routinely circumcised all baby boys within hours of birth without any parental permissions.  It was just what was done then.  So my dad told me that it really wasn't him, or mom, but that they would have had me done anyway as they were following Dr Spock's book Baby & Child Care (hence the name of my blog) and Dr Spock says to circumcise as it "makes a buy fee regular!”  Then my dad told me when I was born he wasn't circumcised.  Growing up we hung out naked as a family in our back yard and never wore trunks for swimming in our pool (still to this day I feel uncomfortable when I have to wear trunks), and as far as I remember my dad was circumcised.  Well, soon after my birth he was drafted - Vietnam war time - and went off for basic training.  At the end of that the drill sergeant ordered all the soldiers who were uncircumcised to report to the medical station on base.  My dad said when they got there - just 5 of them out of the 100+ in basic training - they were told they could get circumcised today, and have 10 days leave, or they could be shipped out to Vietnam with the rest tomorrow.  All of them took the freebie circs on Uncle Sam's account, had their 10 days leave and then went to war.  Fortunately my dad came back in one piece.  He thinks they used a Mogen clamp on him.  Now I know I was cut with a Mogen clamp (the tell-tale V-shaped scar on the underside), so I will ask him next time I see hm if he has that same scar.  Maybe more as I find out more.  Interesting fact that I have been circumcised longer han my dad!
