we thought about not announcing our pregnancy on social media at all, and just being like “suprise, we’re parents” this winter. but now that i’ve broken the social media seal, all i want to do is tell you that she feels exactly like two or three tennis balls being massaged against my insides and that she responds to her dad’s voice and that loud music startles her into dancing and that i think she’s funny even though i don’t really know her at all.

9 more weeks!

and it had never occurred to me that i told every adult who asked that this is what i wanted to do, and i’m doing it, and it’s all very strange and surreal

I won’t miss very much about pregnancy, but I will miss her little kicks and pokes.

update: bright & clean was an exhibitor yesterday at a major bridal expo, and it was the most exciting day i’ve had in a really long time! i think i have a really busy year ahead of me.

life is funny and god is good and we are having a little girl this christmas!
