I already posted this on Discord, but I’m going to go a little more in-depth with it here.

Now, we know that Micha died when he jumped off of the platform in the Down Under. My question is - why did he die in real life at the same time? Of course we know the REASON he died in real life, but it seems way too coincidental for him to die in Minecraft at the same time.

But I think it may be related to the way Daemon captures his victims, and how Ze might be walking right into his trap.

(TL:DR: Daemon lies to his entity creations about their assignments, in reality he wants to have the player befriend them. Because the victims Daemon selects are isolated, these entities become their only friends and they slowly grow so invested in their Minecraft worlds that their consciousness moves over to their Minecraft world. The moment Daemon has them trapped in the Down Under, he finds a way to kill them and due to their body no longer having enough of it’s consciousness and soul to sustain itself, they die in real life as well.)

HOW DAEMON PICKS HIS VICTIMS:

Daemon is a character who employs/creates other entities to hunt down victims for him. And there is a visible pattern in the prey he picks. This pattern presents in both Ze and Micha.

First of all, Daemon selects someone isolated from the outside world. Someone with little to no social connections who is more likely to live vicariously through their Minecraft world.

Second - he deliberately picks people who aren’t afraid to interact with the paranormal. Don’t you find it strange how Micha wasn’t afraid of Regect by pure coincidence? Or how Ze had no issue confronting Regect initially?

Once Daemon finds a victim that fits this criteria, he moves on to the next part of his plan.

DAEMON’S SUPER EVIL MASTER PLAN TO TRAP PEOPLE:

Once he has a victim, Daemon will send an entity to haunt them. He will tell the entity that their job is to scare and torment the player/person…But I believe he is lying to these entities. After all, if Daemon is so powerful, and could therefore create the perfect “terrifying” entity, why was Regect so…Not?

Well, I think this was deliberate on Daemon’s part.

Daemon doesn’t actually want the entity he creates to scare away the player/person. What he wants is for the person to become curious of this entity and to interact with it. In Micha’s case, this led to him befriending Regect. And in Ze’s case is the same.

Now this is where the social isolation comes in; both Micha and Ze are lonely people. Micha had no friends, and his family does not visit him in the hospital. Ze has a bad relationship with his father and therefore he likely does not have strong family ties, and his only friend lives far away.

But when they befriend Regect (and in Ze’s case even more entities) they become even more attached to their Minecraft worlds than they already were. Now, their only friends are within this world, and so they begin to act through their players body more than their real one.

This eventually leads to…

THE FUSION:

Do you ever think about why Ze didn’t just turn off his computer while he was in the Down Under? Or why Micha didn’t do the same when he was told to jump? It’s because their consciousness has almost entirely shifted to that of their player character, leaving just enough behind in their real body to puppet themselves through the game.

To clarify: As the player becomes more invested in their Minecraft world, the more their consciousness and soul begin to fuse with their in-game self. This would also leave their real self feeling drained whenever they step away from the game, inclining them to play more even further. Nobody would be able to interfere, either, since the victims Dameon selects are isolated.

Now that Daemon has his victim “locked” into the world, he will begin enticing them to enter the Down Under. Whether this is through manipulating the player by pretending to be their “entity friend” (like with Micha) or by implying someone else is trapped down there and needs help (like with Ze). When they finally enter, Daemon will lure them in further and eventually kill them. Because the victims body at this point is only still alive through a “remote control” consciousness that is now located within Minecraft, once the Minecraft player dies the connection is cut. This causes the real body to die as well.

As for how Daemon covers this up? I wouldn’t put it past him to somehow enter the real world and set up a fake death scene. If Ptolemy can do it, I think Daemon can, too. Not to mention, Daemon seems to feed off of fear as well. Why else would he scare his victims before killing them?
