Simple Lessons

Last Thursday, after class, I went to SM to have my cellphone fixed because its battery swelled up. I really did not want to just throw it away, so I chose to repair it instead. After that, my girlfriend and I ate out before going home. That day made me realize how important money is and that I must always take good care of my things to avoid unnecessary expenses.

In the following days, I started tutoring a little girl as part of our case study. I observed how she learned and helped her practice reading words. Seeing her smile and eagerness to learn made me happy and proud. The next day, I spent time bonding with my partner. We laughed and enjoyed each other’s company, forgetting our school stress for a while.

April 27-29

HAPPY MOMENTS

Last week, we reviewed our lessons in class for our upcoming quiz. I felt really stressed and confused because there were so many topics and names to remember. My mind was mixed up, and I worried if I could pass them all well.

But everything changed during our last subject. We waited for our PE teacher, and while waiting, we played games for almost an hour. We had so much fun, we laughed so hard that our stomachs started to ache. My classmate Liezel was full of energy and very funny. Her jokes and happy mood made all of us smile and forget our stress.

APRIL 23-26

Little Moments^^

This week was busy but nice. Last Thursday, I didn’t attend my class, I went to the main campus to request my Certificate of Grades for my scholarship but i didn’t get it because my requirements are incomplete so I just went home.

On Friday morning, I fed our chickens first before joining our online class. After class, our teacher gave us a story to read and study.

Saturday was my rest day, I just relaxed at home. Sunday had a power interruption and it got really hot. I kept fanning my puppies because I felt bad seeing them suffer from the heat.

April 20-22

Heart-to-Hearts

I really appreciate this photos because it has many good memories. I remember when we were busy filming our video for Literature class. It was supposed to be simple activity, but it turn out to be fun because we became creative with everyone. And then there were those vacants in class where we just sat back and watched movies together, simple moments that made us feel closer.

What I really treasure though is our monthly "friends date." We go to places like Moon' Coffee, eat yummy food like nachos and fries, and just talk. It’s our special time to share what’s on our minds, listen to each other, and have deep conversations. These moments help us relax and make our friendship even stronger.

I’m so grateful for these times, whether we’re busy with school projects or just chilling and talking.

Life is better when you have people to share it with.

APRIL 18-19

A Busy but Beautiful Weekend

Looking back at these photos, I remember how tiring but happy these days were.

On the morning of April 18, I went to Malvar to work on our radio drama project for Literature. While my groupmates were busy recording, I was so tired that I actually fell asleep. It was a funny moment, but I really needed that rest.

After that, I went home and realized it was also preparation time for my sister’s wedding. There was so much to do and get ready for.

Then April 19 came, the big day. It was my sister’s wedding, and I was honored to be one of her bridesmaids. Wearing my emerald green dress, holding a flower, and standing beside her made me feel so special. Seeing her happy, being with our whole family, and celebrating together was just beautiful.

APRIL 15-17, 2026

Moments That Matter

Looking at these pictures, I see so much more than just photos. I see memories, hard work, and happiness all mixed together.

First, the times with my friends during vacant. Eating together, laughing, and just hanging out, those are the moments that make my school life fun. We may be busy with studies, but these simple bonding remind me how lucky I am to have people to share it with.

Then the school itself. The classroom, the lessons, the quizzes, and even the activities we do together. It’s not always easy, and sometimes it feels tiring, but I know that this was a part of learning and growing every day. Seeing us working as a team shows that we can do things better when we help each other.

At April 17, I went to check the chickens. It was interesting to see how things work, from feeding the chickens to seeing them produce eggs. It made me appreciate where our food comes from and understand that there’s hard work behind everything. Even the cat that I captured sleeping comfortably in the sun was a nice reminder to slow down and enjoy the simple things sometimes.

Reflection on Copyright and Plagiarism in the Philippines

I learned a lot about copyright and plagiarism here in the Philippines and it made me realize so many important things. I learned that copyright is a rule that protects the work of every person. Anything that someone made whether it’s a song, story, art, project, or even a simple posts online belongs to them. We have laws here in the Philippines so no one can just copy, take, or use someone else’s hard work without asking permission or giving proper credit.

While plagiarism is when you copy someone’s ideas or work and pretend it’s yours. For me, that is really wrong because it’s like stealing the time and effort of someone’s work. I used to think that copying from the internet or other people is just a small thing, especially for school works, but now I learned that it’s not okay at all.

It made me realize that these rules are important and it meant not just to scare but to give us knowledge. It is all about being honest and fair to everyone who put’s effort on making something. We, Filipino’s are taught to be respectful and truthful and following copyright rules and avoiding plagiarism is one way to show that value. We also have to be aware that there are real consequences if we break these laws, so we really need to be responsible.

The EMBLEM Days celebration with our team “Purple Voyagers” was truly one of the most exciting and heartwarming events I have ever experienced. It was not just a simple event or activity, but a celebration filled with fun, teamwork, and genuine connections that made every moment meaningful.

During the first day, I really enjoyed all the games. It was so fun joining and cheering with everyone. But what I loved most was seeing how close we all became. We built a really strong bond and connection. Everyone was part of the team, and each one helped and contributed something. No one was left out, we all worked together.

On the second day, the excitement just got even better. We had so much fun cheering loudly and watching our candidates shine on stage. We were so happy when they won, and it felt like all our support and energy paid off. The whole day was filled with laughter and good vibes, and our section had the sweetest bonding time that made us feel even more like a family.

And the best part? In the end, we won as the First Placeoverall champion. Winning first place felt so amazing and rewarding. All our hard work, unity, and the special connection we built as Purple Voyagers truly made us achieve the best. It wasn’t just about the trophy, it was about all the memories, fun, and love we shared together. EMBLEM Days will forever be one of my most cherished memories, full of joy, friendship, and sweet victory!
