Honestly, sitting around that table, laughing at each other's jokes (mainly at Otay's robbery of rice), and just celebrating May was the highlight of the week. She is such an amazing friend, and I'm so glad we got to treat her (and ourselves) to such a solid food trip today.

Doing a rewatch is simply the best decision, because there are so many brilliant little details and character interactions you catch the second (or third) time around.
Just looking at that iconic opening shot of Senku, Gen, Chrome, Ryusui, and Ukyo posing like absolute bosses in front of the glowing Dr. STONE marquee lights gets me so incredibly hyped every single time! It just screams that the science team is here to completely break the rules of the stone world.
And oh my god, Senku and Gen. The ultimate dream team.
Letโs talk about our favorite mad scientist first. There is just something so deeply satisfying about watching Senku's brain work. The way he approaches reviving civilization through pure, unfiltered logicโtaking these massive, impossible goals and breaking them down into systematic, step-by-step processesโhonestly scratches that specific itch for structured problem-solving. It's literally like watching someone systematically debug a massive, broken program, figuring out the exact right syntax and logic to make humanity run properly again. He's arrogant, but he completely backs it up, and his unwavering faith in the slow, grinding process of science is just chef's kiss.
Then you add Asagiri Gen to the mix, and the series just ascends to a whole new level. Gen is such a delightfully sneaky, self-serving mentalist on the surface, but his underlying loyalty and the way he genuinely cares is everything. If Senku handles the hard logic and the physical hardware, Gen is the absolute master of the "software"โhacking human psychology, manipulating the masses, and smoothing over the social bugs so Senku can just focus on inventing.
They operate on the exact same wavelength without even having to speak. Itโs that brilliant, complex character dynamic where two complete oppositesโthe deeply rational scientist and the emotional manipulatorโjust click and form an unstoppable partnership. They trust each other completely to do exactly what the other can't.
I just luve them so much. They are carrying the Kingdom of Science on their absolute genius backs!
Sometimes, amidst the absolute chaos of deadlines, late-night cramming, and just the general exhaustion of everyday life, I have to take a step back and realize how incredibly lucky I am. My heart is just so full of gratitude for the people who constantly anchor meโthe friends who turn mundane afternoons into core memories, the family who always provides a safe harbor, and the quiet, small moments of success that remind me why I keep pushing forward. Itโs not always easy, and my social battery definitely hits zero more often than I'd like to admit, but being surrounded by this kind of genuine love, shared laughter, and unwavering support makes every single chaotic day feel like an absolute blessing.

In my universe, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin are going to figure out a way to break the Titan curse without completely destroying their own souls in the process. They are going to see the ocean together, and this time, they are actually going to get to enjoy it. Just the three of them, finally free.
And most importantly: MY BELOVED LEVI. If anyone deserves a soft retirement, it is humanity's strongest soldier. I am typing the Give Levi Ackerman a Tea Shop tag into existence. He is going to survive, he is going to have a quiet little shop where he aggressively cleans the counters, and he is going to drink his black tea in peace without the weight of the entire world on his shoulders. The ghosts of the Survey Corps will be looking down on him smiling, knowing he finally gets to rest. No, the previous squads will live!

I don't even know how to begin writing this because my hands are still shaking and I am just emotionally destroyed. If you haven't seen the final episode of Attack on Titan, please look away now because we are getting into massive spoiler territory.
To say this finale broke me would be the understatement of the century. Seeing Armin completely break down, screaming and sobbing while cradling Eren's severed head, was absolutely agonizing. The pure, raw pain in his voice made me cry right there with him. And then seeing Mikasa gently holding Eren, confirming with Armin that they both got their memories back of the times Eren came to visit them in the Paths... it just shattered me entirely.
Then we see the ripple effect of Eren's final actions as the power of the Titans is erased from the world. Everyone started remembering the final conversations he had with them. But the moment that truly finished me off? Captain Levi. My beloved Levi. ๐ญ Seeing him battered, bruised, and exhausted, looking out into the smoke to see the ghosts of Commander Erwin, Hange, and all our fallen Survey Corps soldiers looking back at him. Seeing him give them one final salute, telling them, "Seems this was the resolution that you gave your hearts for," was the most cathartic thing I have ever witnessed. He fought so hard, for so long, and he finally got to see that their sacrifices meant something.
At the end, Armin realizes that Mikasa needs to leave before the others find them, to which Mikasa agrees, knowing she needs to ensure Eren is allowed a proper burial. Armin tells her to put him to rest in a nice, quiet place. Watching her walk away alone into the mist with him is the tragic, beautiful ending their bond deserved.
This series has been such a massive part of my anime life. Rewatching this anime never failed to make me cry. AOT has always been on another level of storytelling. Saying a final goodbye to this cruel, beautiful world feels completely surreal. Thank you, Hajime Isayama, for this absolute masterpiece.

You guys, the Briones Clan (aka my momโs side of the family) finally had our much-anticipated outing, and let me tell you... it was pure, unadulterated chaos in the best way possible! ๐
We pulled up to La Virginia Resort, and the entrance alone was giving major epic movie vibes.I mean, there are massive, majestic eagle statues literally guarding the gate! The moment we drove under that arch, I just knew we were in for a wildly entertaining day.
The weather was absolutely perfect! The sun was out, the lighting was crisp, and the vibes were immaculate. We spent some time just walking around the resort grounds, which had these really cool bamboo-style cabins lining the pathways. We obviously had to stop for some golden-hour group selfies, and honestly, the family was serving looks!
Of course, it wouldn't be a true Briones family outing without some absolute clownery on my part. Let me present to you my personal highlight: me, fully embracing the weirdness, passionately hugging a giant, slightly terrifying caveman statue.
Why? I genuinely don't know, but the intrusive thoughts won and it felt right at the time HAHAHA.
And lastly, what is a Filipino family outing without the holy trinity: swimming, eating, and aggressive karaoke? ๐ค Catch me fresh out of the water, still wrapped in my green towel, but already gripping that microphone for dear life because the concert simply never stops. Whether I'm in a classroom with my friends or at a resort with my aunts and cousins, if there is a mic available, I will be taking it.
Overall, a 1000/10 day. My social battery is completely drained, my voice is probably gone again, but making these crazy, hilarious memories with the Briones fam is completely unmatched.

Unlike my last post where I was surviving on sheer delusion and two hours of sleep, today I actually woke up feeling like a fully rested, functioning human being! Seriously, a good night's sleep is the absolute best life hack.
We kicked off the day with our first period, E 115. We had a quiz on Philippine Literature under the Republic. Since I actually had my brain cells fully firing today, I felt pretty great about diving into the literary history!
Then came the moment of truth: the great clipboard redemption arc. So, my friend AJ accidentally broke my old clipboard recently (tragic, I know!), but today he completely redeemed himself by giving me a brand new replacement. It is this super sleek, clean blue clipboard! I thanked him profusely because, honestly, the aesthetic upgrade is real. From pink to a majestic blue! Friendship officially saved. ๐๐
But the absolute peak of the day happened after all the serious academic stuff was out of the way. Me, Rovilyn, Romeo, Charmaine, and Liezel collectively decided that our classroom was actually a concert venue, and we had a full-on karaoke session. We had Taylor Swift playing on the big screen, belting out "Cruel Summer" in all its glory. We were singing, dancing around, and just completely letting loose with each other! It was so much fun HAHAHA!
