That one time in Maginhawa with the bff Unexpected 4-hour break, what else to do but tick off the checklist and treat ourselves to unlimited food tasting!! Though we didn't get that far because of two factors namely time and budget. So, first stop: Caution Hot! We've been eyeing this spicy ramen house for so long and it didn't disappoint us. Indeed was it spicy and the dumplings were delicious. Second stop: Iscreamist. Well, the place was cramped. And we didn't really get to enjoy the so cold smores, unlike some people said. Third stop: Theo's. Such a lovely lovely place. The place's decor and the food! If only we weren't too full we'd order one of their meals. But it was siesta time, so we had to go for light only or else we'd throw up on our way home. The over-all experience was fantastic because it was a first for both of us and we'd definitely come back for more!! A video made by Shiela will come up after this hihi

Comfort food : chocolates and pancakes Comfort music : Vance Joy's Riptide and Sweater Weather by The Neighbourhood Comfort movie : Legally Blonde the Musical (ok it's not a movie but it soothes me) Comfort place : --- At first, I thought my comfort place would be somewhere grassy, where the sun is gold, whether I'd be sitting under the shade of a big tree or swinging towards the golden horizon. But it's not. Then I thought it'd be some cafe where the small of caffeine would feel my nostrils as I read a book or two and soft jazz playing in the background. But it's not. Then I thought it's somewhere overlooking the city lights and the many faces of different personalities, may it be over a hill or a high building. But again, it's not. I gave up on the thought, saying that maybe, just maybe, I'm just another hypocritical species wanting one thing after the other just because it's how people want it (though I've sworn I hate everything "trending"). Then just now, I know where my comfort place is. It's anywhere, as long as I'm with myself. In other words, alone. Funny, because I've always feared being alone. I always want to push myself with someone or a certain group of people. Mainly because I don't want others to talk behind my back, and the disheartening feeling of being alone with your thoughts. My brain frightens me. It can come up with 100 ways to be happy and productive, but it only takes one single thought to ruin everything away. But despite that, I have found comfort in myself. Because at the end of the day, you're the only person who understands you and your unreasonable reasons, you're the only one fighting your own made up battles and most especially, you're the only person who can convince yourself whether you do it or not. But you know, this is my take of things. I don't know with you, though.
