I apologize for leaving so suddenly. I know I made plenty of posts about it, but I left because someone that I thought I was in a relationship with actually was in a relationship with someone else. I was heartbroken and needed space. After that I just never needed to download Tumblr again.

So, what now?

Well, this account will always stay up for people who are new shifters and need the information. I'll try my best to keep my Tumblr updated with current information to reach me, but no guarantees.

But for now, to those who won't reach out anywhere else, this is goodbye.

Where are some communities for other shifters to learn more?

I have been lurking for a long time now, taking my time with journaling and meditation, only to find many people leaving Tumblr. I'm worried by the time I find out for myself if it's right for me I'll have no where to go/turn to :c

I'm only in a few circles so I don't know if this will be too helpful sorry :<

Theres Amino, plenty of groups there to check out if you know what to look up. Discord groups too, but they can be tough to find and some smaller ones can risk spiraling unsafely. I would give names but I don't know if anyone would be okay with it or not :{

Uhhhh.... as far as I've seen everywhere else that offers a community-based social media is either dead, or full of trolls. It's kind of upsetting but its whatever, usually shifters don't hang out in big groups for a long time and disperse really quickly. I wouldnt be surprised if within the next few years the community becomes even more recluse, even with people reclaiming the labels.

We just don't stick together for too long, and that's fine, because we usually need to find our own ways to shift that work for us :3

Btw, you can find a bunch of stuff on web archive, and instagram for shifting stuff. There's also a Silverpack Kingdoms website that is retired last i heard but is being left up for archiving purposes.

Hey anon if you see this, could you please elaborate of what you mean by a dream after a shift? (As in, is it reality shifting or shapeshifting)

Becayse if its for reality shifting i never get dreams. But, with shapeshifting quite often I will. Especially if I have been going a long stretch where I'm very invested.

Im unsure otherwise how to give you resources or experiences, because I don't remember many of mine well :v

Not weird btw, I have it in my bio (EDIT I HAD IT IN MY BIO. not my description whoops) that I'm a minor. I like being well-versed on stuff and have always gotten along better with adults. Plus the shifting community has been a great interest to me for a long time, I want to know what is behind it all and what I'm apart of. I'm usually not one to lightly dabble in things that interest me lol.

So lately I've been feeling like sort of someone who just can't text. I just cant, im so bad at doing it and I've never been able to fix it.

Ive always been awkward irl and have had trouble keeping in contact with people. I don't have loyalty it feels like I just move where the wind takes me. Genuine amazing people become friends with me but then they realize I'm too much, or im not right, or I'm just not worth talking to, and I end up forgotten. Nevermind the fact that I do the same thing to others.

Ive never been able ti keep friends around. It's a shock I even have a friend that has lasted more than 2 years.

All I've ever wanted is friends that i could be around and at least listened, and accepted me. I have that now irl, but I'm scared im going to lose them too. I try not to think about it because these people are people I care about so much.

And sometimes i wish I wasn't nonhuman. That I was a normal human and I was perfectly okay and was just.... idk normal to societies standards. Maybe I would keep people around. Maybe I wouldn't lose online friends and others because i knew how to react to things. Maybe it would be much easier for me to hear others and finally be able to understand what people are saying.

I learnt recently that I have an issue hearing people. (As if I didn't know) When i don't know people well I only catch 25% of what people are saying (guesstimate, because for the most part I only catch less than half of what others are saying)

It makes me feel so shallow. I hate having mental shifts halfway through a conversation and people's words becoming garbled nonsense even when they are being clear.

I hate how horrible I am at comforting people. I hate how I'm unable to understand people through text. I hate it I hate it I hate it.

And god the perfectionism. It's horrible, it's so bad I will spend so much time rewriting a single message to someone. I have to always send the perfect text. I can't let myself just text either, because it won't be good enough.

Am I expecting too much out of others? I feel like I've been pushed to my breaking point when it comes to online relationships. Nobody sticks around. I want them to, so bad, but they always leave me. Always.

I just can't click with people. Im angry and it hurts and I feel like giving up on people and friendships because it's just not working and-

Having open therians in government, being trusted and seen as someone who has a deep connection with themselves.

Its been an interesting thought for sure. The therian community is beginning to become big enough that it's getting talked about more and more often. Will it take a similar path as the LGBTQ community, trying to fight for rights? Or will everyone just be chill about it and fine? Curious so to say, the world might change for the better if therians become normal to society.

Isnt the label "p-shifter" just a dogwhistle used outside of the community to find manipulative people inside the community? (Rhetorical question)

Because I never started calling myself a p-shifter until i made it to a larger platform. We all call ourselves shifters, were____, supernaturals, etc. Nobody even really calls themselves a p-shifter unless they have actually p-shifted. Rarely anyone does because beginners flock like pigeons to bread. It's crazy we usually steer away from claiming physical shifting because of how many who are so hateful and horrible about it within our own community 😵‍💫

Its usually only shared within small groups or with close friends. Hell I would never share that I have physically shifted here, too open and there's simply no reason to say anything lol.

Its ironic too honestly. I'm surprised on how the community claims it can teach you but then throws you to the wolves (haha) once you actually learn how to. The guides aren't even up to date anymore and many of us advise against using them as a primary source for your journey :/

Anyways I'll try not to drag on forever about this. I usually devolve into a very long essay and I'm trying not to right now.
