i want to give a special shout out to horace somnusson, not just because he is my favorite character, but because he is the one mphfpc character that is canonically queer shown to us through various courses of dialouge and actions.
as much as i love and appreciate all of the headcanons the fandom has given out, such as ymbrynes and notably miss peregine being lesbian, bronwyn being lesbian/ace, jacob being bi, so on and so forth with different sets of ideas given to each, while based on quotes and vibes, they are not explicitly proven to be true unlike horace.
even if horace being queer was demonstrated in a rather forced and questionable way (specifically in the latter of the series), he still is the one character we get of represntation that wasn't decided by the viewers.
