Hey friends, after binging Word of Honor, I think it’s time I made a post about one of my fave tropes. Soulmates. It’s a lovely idea that there’s a lid to every pot, one that fits perfectly.

Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian from The Untamed
How could they not be soulmates? They were drawn to each other. They knew each other well, strengths and weaknesses. Evenly matched. They protected each other and learned from each other. 16 years and a death couldn’t break their bond.
Dean and Pharm from Until We Meet Again
HELLO? A WHOLE LIFETIME HAD PASSED AND THEY STILL FOUND EACH OTHER! It was the way they physically connected without saying a word to each other. It’s the way they knew each other without even having met. This series was made to highlight how finding your soulmate can sometimes be otherworldly. It’s something about how a bond can transcend time.
Yeon Woo and Yoo Han from Color Rush
This series showed how a soulmates can physically affect people. People were built in pairs. I love how this series and pair explored the darker side of the soulmate trope. They literally completed each other and that need to be complete turned into obsession, or so they thought.
