He got his fame from going on a reality show where he lost 384 pounds without medication or surgery. His hard work led him to more fitness reality shows and got a following of 70,000 on Instagram. This transformation paved the way for an invitation to a Recording of a TV program called “Programma do Gugu” where he was featured in a section titled "Virou Outra Pessoa." In English, that translates to "Became Another Person." Gugu Liberato, the host of the show, proudly congratulated him, saying he was one to "[go] further than most people could imagine. Later on Instagram and YouTube, he documented his lifestyle change - including how he lost hundreds of pounds through diet and exercise — with the intention of inspiring others struggling with weight and health issues.
After his initial success, he faced personal tragedies, This contributed to emotional struggles, and he eventually regained significant weight after his transformation. His jawline retreated. His transformation timeline turned into a loop. Despite this, he continued to engage with followers and expressed intentions to make another effort at weight loss.
He had an entire community inspired and energized by his transformation, which must have put enormous pressure on him to stay in shape. This time, though, he showed zero discipline or self-control. It’s hard to imagine how defeated he felt hitting “post” and admitting to his followers that he’d regained all the weight—and then some.
