i recently made a new reshade preset for the sims 4 after switching back to 3.0.8! this preset is called strawberry milk tea

this preset was created with 3.0.8

make sure to turn off edge smoothing in your game options

i highly recommend downloading the shaders & textures from this preset (specifically the qUINT shaders)

turn off MXAO & DOF for smoother gameplay (i put hotkeys to turn them on/off faster)

PETSrichor Eyes — Default Eyes Set for Dogs and Cats

Okay, here we go! Some new default pets eyes to go with my Petrichor Default Eye set. 🥰 I hope you like them!

Smultron Pet Eyes

A default replacement eye in the same style as my Smultron Eyes for our furry friends. Includes the heterochromia option, of course. This set replaces the eyes for small dogs, big dogs, and cats of all life stages. I may make an override for the farm animals in the future, but as of right now I do not have any plans for it. The beautiful models in the image are by @pugowned on the gallery - highly recommend them for their fantastic animals.

Good to know:

Requires Cats & Dogs EP.

18 EA colors (default replacement), 9 for dogs & 9 for cats.

For all life stages (kitten/puppy - elder).

Heterochromia (secondary eye color) is included.

You can only have ONE set of default eyes in your game at a time, however you can have as many non-default eyes as you wish. The default eyes file will conflict with other default eyes.

Momo-cc Cutie Phone Override / Default Replacement

I was baffled to find a location to put this body detail, and decided the best place (honestly, the only place, EA hasn't given us much to work with here) is the Horn slot. 

It's CHIN FLUFF, similar to the Subtle Feathering I made.

I PROMISE that the hornless fluff will NOT make your horse sparkley or sound like a unicorn. EA just mysteriously hard-coded this effect into the CAS category. (as far as I can tell)

You DO NOT need my no sparkles mod for this to work, this doesn't touch unicorn sparkles at all -- without my no sparkles mod, your unicorns will still be sparkly and the hornless fluff will still be without sparkles!

“Neapolitan” Gshade preset collection comes with 3 different presets, depending on what you want the vibe to be!  (Click on the pics to enlarge the previews of them, I really strugglebus with formatting on tumblr, so bear with me! The pics are unfortunately not as sharp as they actually are, trust me, the presets look better in game) I named it Neapolitan because it reminded me of the trio of ice cream flavours I ate as a kid all the time. It also suits the vibe of each one, so that helps! 

“Strawberry” Is the preset I use currently for my own gameplay. It is vibrant and pops the colours just enough so it doesn’t burn your eyes out, but retains a bright and cheerful vibe.

“Vanilla” Lives up to its name by being just the right amount of different from the original EA vibes but slightly brighter and adds a pop of more vibrancy and smoothness.

“Chocolate” has a moody, almost autumnal vibe. It leans more warm, mysterious and I’m surprised by how much I like it in-game; since I tend to go brighter and vibrant. I should’ve taken screenshots of it in a forested area, but this already took my whole afternoon so, the previews are what they are lol

I am VERY picky about Gshade presets, and so I made sure that the things that bother me the most I fixed when I made these presets. They are as follows:

1) Not heavily blue-green, like EA’s ugly lighting

2) Neutralizes the overly yellow tones in EA’s whites

3) Doesn’t make sims look basketball orange

4) Doesn’t make sims of colour (especially black sims!) look washed out

5) Are gameplay-friendly, and don’t bleach out the UI in game so it’s unreadable

6) Are the vibe

ONE MORE IMPORTANT THING before the download: If you go into your game and you’re like “???? why is this preset making my game a little slow?” PLEASE go and click on your MXAO settings and turn the quality down. My computer by some miracle can handle it on ultra, but it can make your computer slow if it can’t handle it. It is easily fixable by turning it to Medium or lower depending on what your computer can run.

Also, I used ADOF for the screenshots, which is a depth of field shader, I turned it off, so if you want it on in your game, just type it in the search bar and turn it on :)

Welcome to the Not So Berry Legacy Challenge, a ten generation legacy with a focus on bright colors and new experiences.

Basic Rules:

Each heir must represent the color of the generation (i.e. hair, makeup, clothing), but brightly colored skin is not necessary (these aren’t actually berry Sims, that’s the joke). Of course, this is optional but a big portion of the fun.

The colors of the spouses don’t matter as they aren’t part of the challenge. Unless otherwise stated you can do whatever you please with them.

Money cheats can be used, but not excessively. Suggestion: use freerealestate for your first home, but no cheats afterward.

You may live wherever you please unless something is specified in the rules of a generation.

Every generation is supposed to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Keep the lifespan on normal.

We wanted to make something that forced us to play with parts of the game we’ve never explored before. Hopefully you’ll have fun too.
