             trust falls completely into the women's hands, a warm feeling that wraps around her heart.  barney and bamm-bamm were simply amused at the quick attachment but considering a mothers touch was far more soothing, the boys let them be.  their home, safe in a town with a small population but fierce as many come near.  ❛  laura, come here,  ❜  digits itch as she gestured for her to come over,  luring the girl towards the couch with a set of clothes.  ❛  i’ve asked my friend to lend me some of pebbles clothes, bamm-bamm’s gf,   ❜  the story was probably best for another time but she couldn’t help it.  she already had a son, so it felt like she had a daughter now and betty couldn’t be more excited.               ❛  it’s the perfect size for you,  ❜ holding up the patterned shirt and solid colored shorts, hopefully green was to her liking. ❛ so why don’t you start getting dressed and i’ll clean up,  alright?  ❜ hues glisten as she waited, ears itching for a sweet response that would melt her heart. instead, betty couldn’t help but feel this surge of joy wash over, just a bit of a lean and betty received her first physical affection.  here she goes again, almost at tears,  a hand hovering over her mouth. ❛  oh  laura  --- --- why don’t you go on ahead.  i’m going to start prepping for the day, ❜  abruptly standing up, the cave woman just kisses her forehead and sets the clothes in her hand. with a light pat on the back, she urges her to change  ❛  go ahead now.  we have a lot to do,  ❜  back turned as she felt weak all over again, just like when she had bamm-bamm.

              * 🎀  ♡  infertility     while fred and wilma have a more energetic and dynamic marriage,  barney and betty are emotionally in tune.  when every women she knew, from friends to class mates we’re having babies, she was happy for them!  thrilled.  she couldn’t wait for her turn and barney was also supportive. they wanted kids, lots of them but when she found out she couldn’t? her heart broke, even worse when she found out that her best friend was pregnant. while betty was emotionally exhausted over the attempts they’ve tried with the doctors, they stopped. barney could see how worn out betty was and he became her cheerleader through everything.                 * 🎀  ♡   while many times she’s prayed on her own and with barney, betty sometimes cried to herself when barney went to work.  she’d give herself a few minutes alone before leaving to help wilma. she was her best friend and nothing would stop her, even though holding pebbles was a clear realization that she wasn’t going to be a mother.  a broken soul, held together by her husbands gentle demeanor gave her a reason not to give up and look for other options. he’s the one that kept her upbeat, he’s the one that showered her with gifts to lift her spirits, pet names, and cheer her on!  this is why betty and barney are so emotionally connected.                     * 🎀  ♡ bamm-bamm appearing on their doorstep, betty could feel her heart jump. as excited as barney was about their prayers being answered, she didn’t want to jump to the conclusion that he was theirs. it’s possible that his mother still wanted him and the next day, she looked around for his parents. carrying for bamm-bamm the entire time, looking for his own mother, she felt this peace.  everyone was commenting on how cute her son was that she slowly warmed up to it and hoped that bamm-bamms mother really wasn’t going to take him back. she had to confirm !                       * 🎀  ♡  with a few days search and nothing,  the law permitted barney and betty as adoptive parents.  signing every piece of paper didn’t compare to the love and affection she showed every minute. when they finally brought him home,  a piece of her was filled and betty had everything she could ever want. he wasn’t her blood but this was fate, this was the reason why she couldn’t have her own. bamm-bamm was meant to be placed on their doorstep !  he and barney are the only two men she’ll ever need in her life. (  till her grandchildren arrive !!  )

              ❛  well, i’m sure your mom will repeat the same thing as i would,  ❜ . the two had been best friends since they were in high school and it’s no surprise that the girls hung out all the time.   ❛  don’t worry, our little bamm-bamm didn’t want me overhearing on his lady advice with your uncle barney,  ❜ . she shakes her head, a little disappointed that her son was to embarrassed to tell her things but she let him have his space.  setting the dress into the basket, she only smiles as pebbles went on to describe the boy she liked. the same look she had in her eyes the moment she met her cave hunk !!  all she could think of was her sweet ol’ barney.   ❛  isn’t love swell, pebbles?  ❜  a light bop on the nose as she wraps her arms around the younger girl.  trying to play it off, as if it wasn’t her son she was talking about, she only nudged her hip against the younger cave girl.   ❛ i felt the same way when i met barney. ❜
